I wait for a guard to pass the halls, after a mass fight occurred last year the high school has been filled with guards. I see a senior guard turn a corner and start walking near me. I give a sound telling Henry that it's time.
In full view of the guard Henry slams my things to the ground, I go to pick up the books and he tries to trip me. I start yelling at him and he gets physical. I turn to the guard to show a helpful plea trying to get him near us. He starts powers walking towards us.
Henry pushes me to a wall and talks nonethical nonsense to try to further convince the guard. The guard briskly walks up to us and asks what happened. I tell the guard what Henry did and the guard speaks to him.
"Sir you could get in big trouble for this, I might have to send you to detention if this lady believes it fit." I have mild panic realizing none considered Henry getting in trouble. I think for a second and realize Pip slithering out of the near bathroom towards us. I look away from him and begin to talk.
"N-no I think it's fine," I say trying to give Pip more time to steal the key. I'm about to speak again when Henry mumbles.
"Yea I'm sorry I don't know what came over me,"
"Hmm, well sir you have a pardon and this would be your first offence so you're free to go," I look down and see Pip sneaking away with the key back to the bathroom but he needs another second or two.
"Oh uh," I spurt out, "Nice, uh, outfit?"
"Uhm, yea sure thanks," he says slowly in an unentertained voice. At this point Pip is back in the bathroom and I let him walk past us back to where his original destination was. Once he was out of ear shot I tell Henry to get Pip and go over to where Jemma and Lucy were waiting and watching for guards. We all meet back in a hall.
"Well was it a success?" Lucy asks.
Pip proceeds to pull out a ring of keys, "What do you think?"
"Yay!" Lucy says and pulls him into a hug and picks him up. Pip lets out a small sputter and Lucy drops him.
"Alright now what?" Jemma asks.
"Well we have already used up most of our free period so we'll wait for tomorrow to sneak into the test room and down the hall," I answer.
"Bet," Pip says shoving the keys back into his pocket.
