What is that annoying ringing sound that is filling my head? I turn away, but it doesn't seem to stop. It's pulsing in my brain.

Oh that's right.
I groan and bitch-slap the alarm clock, which finally stops making noise for once. I blink some of the thick fog out of my eyes and read the time.

6:30 AM displayed in big red letters. This time was personally way too early for my liking, but Rob was coming back to Montreal today, and I promised myself I'd drop by with a present to welcome him back.
He always visits the States, though he never says why. I never wanted to be annoying and ask though, yet the secret is eating me alive.

I slip out of bed and walk over into my personal washroom. I stop and stare at myself in the mirror. Even with bags under my eyes, un-brushed hair, and in only boxers, I think I'm a fine muffin.

I walk away from the mirror, and walk down the stairs to the bottom floor. The kitchen was calling for me.
"I don't know why I didn't come sooner!"
I call to my fridge, and sling open the door. Cool air flows out, sending chills throughout my body. My mouth waters at the thought of a nice hot breakfast.
Over-easy eggs, bacon, double buttered toast, sausage, biscuits with brown and white gravy, it sounds so great right now.

I reach our for all of the food, but then remember how poor I am. I return my hand to my sides, silently crying on the inside.
Yea that's right, I forgot how my YouTube job doesn't give me that much money than I expected it to when I first got into it. I used to get an easy $20,000 every month, but I guess people loose interest. The bills are also very high, but that's my own fault.

I picked some Cheerios off the shelf, and ate them cold and hard. After I was finished, I walked over to the living room and threw myself onto the couch. I yanked my phone out of the cushion crack and saw that I mad a missed call from Rob. He called about 15 minutes ago.

How was I so deaf to not hear it? I must have enjoyed that cereal way too much.
Upon further inspection, he'd also texted me 4 times.

Damn, I was really enjoying that cereal.
I looked over the messages quickly.

Rob
[6:59 AM]
Hey Mitch, my car broke down not too far from your house. I tried to call for help, but you didn't answer and your freaking voicemail isn't setup yet. I was wondering if you could come get me? It's too cold for me to walk, and it would take a good 30 minutes.

Rob
[7:03 AM]
Helloo? This is really urgent! Pls man.

Rob
[7:17 AM]
OKAY MITCH, THERES THIS GUY THREATENING TO TOE MY CAR AWAY AND LEAVE ME HERE IF I DONT MOVE. HES GIVING ME 10 MINUTES. COME! HURRY!

Rob
[7:28 AM]
iM COMING fOR YOu

I almost fell off the couch. I then glanced at the clock on my phone. It was currently 7:45 AM.
I need to put some clothes on. I don't want to be in boxers when Rob murders me.

Just then, the door was being banged on. The terrifying knocking noises filled the quiet house, making my heart race.
Here I am, Mitch Hughes, going to die from an angry Woofless.
I'm going to be dead in my boxers, from an insane wild man.
At the funeral, Rob's final comment will be
"Nice undies you ass-hat."

The door flung open, with a raging Rob standing on my doormat.
It said 'Welcome home', but Rob is not welcomed here at the moment.
"No! Rob wait!" I screamed while fearing for my life.

I'm going to die right now.
