The Not So Unlikely Pair

First Day

   It was around three in the morning on a Monday and a dirty blonde haired male sat nervously on his bed.

Just a few weeks ago his dad had remarried. The person he married being a more stricter and more open person then what he was used to.

After a very long conversation they decided to put him in public schools. Tommorow was his first day at Drydox High.

The boys name was Liam Green, a 16 year old omega.

Liam had rarely ever left his house because he never had a reason to. His father took care of him and that's all he needed.

The idea of being surrounded by so many new people horrified him.

He took a shaky breath grabbing his phone off the nightstand beside his bed.

He opened the phone to reveal a picture of him in his father as his background.

He stared at the old picture for a moment the dim phone light illuminating the small boys features.

Liam had similar eyes to his father's a deep blue. Though that was the only thing that was similar.

He was pale and skinny while his father was big and tan. Liam had dirty blond hair while his father had black hair.

His father would often say that Liam looked almost identical to his mother. After seeing a couple of old photos Liam never disagreed.

After a few more moments of staring at the picture he clicked onto YouTube. "Maybe some music will help me sleep" he mumbled to himself. Spotting his bright pink earbuds on the floor he snatched them up quickly plugging them in.

He searched up some calming music and laid back taking a deep breath and closing his eyes.

 
  The small light of the morning sun shone through the window lighting the tiny room. 

The door gave off a small squeak as a small woman pushed it open.

This small woman was Liam's stepmom Elizabeth.

Elizabeth has long brown hair that was pulled back neatly into a tight ponytail. Her matching brown eyes were cold as usual. She wore a pure white blouse and a long black skirt with matching black high heels.

She opened her mouth as if to speak before realizing the earbuds in Liam's ears. She swiftly made her way over to him pulling out the earbuds. Then loudly saying "Liam time for your first day of school"

It took a moment before Liam began to stir. He blinked for a second or two before sitting up.

"You have 30 minutes before we have to leave so hurry" was the only thing Elizabeth said before walking out and shutting the door.

Liam yawned acknowledging the fact he didn't get enough sleep. The faint buzz of his still playing music drifted into his ears earning another groan from the tired male. He quickly shut off the music and began the get ready for the day.

  A little ways away another male was getting ready for school.

A small knock came from the door. "Mom said you better be ready soon" a young voice drifted through the door. To which was replied with a growl. "I'll be ready soon" the blue haired male yelled.

A moment after the statement light footsteps could be heard running down the hall.

The male sighed.

His name was Darren Thompson a 16 year old alpha.

Darren tugged on his red jacket as he stared in the mirror. He grinned remarking the words "Good looking".
