Jotaro's POV

We were cramped in the back of a small van that belonged to the Speedwagon Foundation. All that there was to be heard was the sound of Avdol mixing up a rubix cube.
"All right, Polnareff," Avdol tossed the rubix cube to his French lover. "Solve it." Avdol then pulled out a stopwatch to time Polnareff.
I sighed as the clicking of the rubix cube filled the stale air.
"Yo, old man," I said. "Where are we goin' again?"
"Cairo, Egypt." Joseph said in reply as he pet Iggy gently. I then sat down on the floor of the van and took a photo out. It was of a red-haired boy with cherry earrings. He also had glossy lavender eyes.
Because it was taken right after his 'death'.
The Speedwagon Foundation has recovered his body, but something strange happened where his spirit left his body. So, of course, they sent me and some other stand users to hunt the thing.
I was visibly annoyed. Not because I had to interact with a ghost, it was because I was stuck with my grandpa, two love-birds, and an annoying dog.
Though, soon enough, we got to our stop.

It was dark out, and all that was visible were the lights of nearby hotels and houses. We were dropped off at a mansion, that was said to hold a vampire. Though, before coming here, the Speedwagon Foundation confirmed the vampire was long dead.
"Iggy," Avdol's voice cut through the silence. "Sniff." Avdol held a small piece of jewelry to Iggy's nose. He sniffed it, then he trotted towards the open mansion doors.
"So he did die in there." Joseph took the piece of jewelry from Avdol and opened his bag up. There were a few things inside there.
"What are these for?" I asked, Polnareff peering over my shoulder to get a better look.
"To identify the spirit," Joseph pulled out matching cherry earrings, a white scarf, and a cloth with green triangles on it. "These things belonged to him. We're each going to be in a group and get one object."
The old man handed me the cherry earrings, Avdol the cloth, and he kept the scarf.

We went inside the mansion. Avdol and Polnareff went to the right, Joseph and Iggy to the left, and I went up the stairs. I kept the cherry earrings in my pocket, being careful not to loose them.
It wasn't long before I reached the top, and what I saw has a huge set of worn double doors. Of course, I was curious, so I opened one of the doors. It was mostly dark, and I couldn't really make out anything. All that really stood out to me was a lavish bed.
However, I noticed there was a few dried-up blood stains on the pillows and sheets. I then trudged inside and flopped on the dirty bed, dust puffing from the mattress.
The cherry earrings jingled in my pocket. I was tired, and sick of this already. Then, I felt something off. I sat up and looked around. I felt... like someone was watching me.
I tried to ignore it, but I failed to. I looked around the room, trying to see what could be observing me. Then, I saw it.
A boy. He seemed to be about my age, 17. He had cherry red hair, pale skin, and lavender eyes. Though, he looked familiar.
"My earrings," An almost echoing voice sounded out. "You have my earrings?" All I could do was nod.
It was the spirit.
"Yeah, do you want them?" I asked, my hand slithering into my pocket to grab the earrings. I knew what I needed to do, but I might not be quick enough. The spirit approached me, then reached out his hand to take the jewelry.
Slowly, I let Star Platinum out. I needed to capture the ghost using my stand. One of Star's gloves hands reached out, the quickly grabbed the ghost by the wrist.
The earrings his the ground with a soft jingle.
The spirit then started squirming violently. He tried braking free, but Star kept a heavy grip on him. I needed to tell the others, but the spirit was staring to get restless. He clawed at Star's arm, which affected me as well. Eventually, it got to the point where I couldn't hold on anymore, and Star let go.
The spirit then fled downstairs, and of course, I chased him.
