Chapter 1: That Stranger

Haruno Sakura waked from her slumber. She lazily stood up from her bed and went to her bathroom and did her morning rituals.

When she's done, she went downstairs and prepared herself a breakfast.

She just moved into a new town along with her family but she wants to be independent so she moved out and got an apartment.

She finished everything that she needed to do and is now ready to go to school. She walked to school and and saw Ino walking with a guy.

Ino is her childhood bestfriend and they live in the same town and goes to the same school. She called them and the Ino greeted her.

"Oh Sakura!" Ino said, shocked.

"Hey. Who's this?" Sakura said and looked at the guy besides Ino. He was smiling

"This is Sai. Sai this is Sakura, my bestfriend and Sakura this is Sai. My boyfriend." Ino smiled and blushed while the two handshakes

"Well its nice to meet you Sai. Mind if I join you two?" Sakura was in shock but she quickly recovered.

"Sure" Ino and Sai said in unison

Along the way, Ino keeps blabbering about Christmas being near and what she wants for Christmas and Sai would just smile.

'I'm amazed that this guy can handle Ino" Sakura thought and sweat dropped.

'I agree with Ino though. Christmas is approaching fast and I'm too lazy to do Christmas shoppings." Sakura sighed which made Ino and Sai looked at her.

"You okay, Sakura?" Ino asked.

"Y-yeah, it's nothing" Sakura smiled and continued walking.

"I think I don't have a choice but to do it.' Sakura mentally slapped herself.

They arrived to school on time. Since their first period is Math and it's handled by Hatake Kakashi they have no worries about being late coz the teacher itself is always late.

"Hey, where's Sai?" Sakura asked Ino who was writing something on her notebook

"Oh he went to the principal's office to get something" Ino said without looking at her. Sakura got curious to what Ino was writing but just shrugged it off. Might be a homework that she forgot to do.

'Should I get Kakashi-sensei another volume of Icha Icha Paradise?" Sakura thinks bored.

"Man he's 30 minutes late already!" Sakura was about to stand up from her desk when the door opened and revealed a silver haired man

"Yo! Sorry for being late. I found a lost dog and returned-" he didn't finish what he's supposed to say because he was cut off by the class saying...

"LIAR!"

Kakashi sweat dropped.

"Anyway, the new student is here" He called the student to come in

It was Sai.

Sakura turned to Ino. Shock plastered on her face.

"What?"
