Marinette's Pov

"You disobeyed me Marinette. I thought I told you clearly to not go outside the castle? It's too dangerous for you!" Dad said angrily.

"But how will we know the condition of our people if we don't even go outside! Those poor people are all starving because of the lacking of food! I mean, what's the point of having this stupid powers if I won't use it to help the others!!" I shouted angrily, which was a mistake, now I only made things worst.

"That's it! You're grounded. And don't come out until I said so"

What? How can dad ....... Do this to me?

"Tom, I think you're taking it too far" mom said calmly.

"No, I'm only doing it for her safety and also, I hired maids so Marinette wouldn't go out, not to accompany her outside the castle. If something like this happens again, I'll put all the maids in the dungeon and hire new maids." Dad said firmly.

"This... This is not fair! I'm given the power to help others but here I am, stuck in my own home. I can't even use them because you always forbids me to go out. Don't you care about our people? You're so selfish dad!!"

I ran into my room and lock myself. I don't understand, my mom is the only person who cares about my happiness. Why can't my father do that too?

The reason I know I have a power was because my mom told me. I asked her why I am not allowed to go out, so she told me everything.

I guess I can't go out anymore, at least I have a memory that I helped someone.

Speaking of helping someone. The grandpa gave us a jewelry, might as well open it.

I took the box and opened it, until I was blinded by a bright pink light.

First my vision was all blurry but now that my vision is clear, I saw a small girl with red hair.

I almost forgot to breath because of shock.

How come someone entered my room without me noticing? And what's with the light? What is happening?

"Umm, are you alright?" The little girl asked.

"Wha-what are you doing here? How did you come here? I'm gonna call the knights" I said as I panicked.

"Don't be scared Marinette. I know you're shock and all, but try to exhale"

"How do you know my name? You're not someone from here, so how did you?"

"I'm Tikki and I'm a kwami. I'm just in my human form."

"What's a kwami?" I asked, finally calming down.

"The Kwamis allowed you to transform and help you control your super power"

"Okay, so uhm, ho-how do I transform?" I asked. This is getting weirder, minute by minute. And speaking of wierd. Did I forget something?
