Chapter 1

Yuki POV

"Tamaki! You got your stuff ready?" I ask him, while we board the train. We were on our way to Miyagi prefecture, Principal Nezu wanted the big three to go however Mirio was looking after Eri and Nejire was busy looking after her mother, resulting in Tamaki going, he was able to choose someone to accompany him, me! "Yeah, I've got my stuff bunny, now come on, we don't want to be late," I nod and hop off at Miyagi prefecture, "Wow! Even the air feels fresher here!" I take a breath in, Tamaki smiles, "You're right, maybe the country air is getting to us city kids," He kisses the top of my head, I giggle, "Now come on you slowpoke! I want to see the school Principal Nezu organised for us!" He chuckles, "Ok, let's go," He holds my hand and we step foot into our new temporary school, Karasuno High!

"Today class, we'll be having two new students," The teacher introduces us, we walk in, Tamaki immediately becoming nervous, "Potatoes, Potatoes, Potatoes, Potatoes," He kept mumbling I giggle, he takes his attention to me briefly, relaxing. "Well, could you introduce yourselves?" The teacher asks, "O-oh, yes! Hello! My name's Yuki Kono, nice to meet you! My quirk is electroglacier, I am able to control both the elements and create electricity and ice freely, a hobby I have is volleyball!" I say with a smile, the class seemed to light up, "Nice to meet you Kono!" I smile and bow, "And you?" The teacher asks Tamaki, he looks up at the class, with 'the look' the same thing he did with 1-A when we went in. The class freezes, scared of what he'd do next, "I-I can't d-do t-this," He quickly turns around and faces the wall, I smile and pat his back, "This is Tamaki Amajiki, he's quite shy, but a lovely person!" I say for him, 'thanks bunny' he mouths I nod, "Ok, take a seat, thank you Kono and Amajiki," The teacher gives us a smile, we take our seats and she resumes to the class, during lunch. "Wow Kono! You're really pretty! Your quirk is amazing too, what school did you come from?" A group of girls and boys come up to me, blocking Tamaki off, "Um... well, we both came from a really small school, you probably won't even know its name," I nervously laugh and scratch my head, "Oh really? What's its name?" A girl asks, I sweat, "U-um..." I was wracking through my brain, small schools, small, schools! "We came from Iwatobi High School," Tamaki mutters, I sigh in relief, he smiles at my reaction, "Oh, I've heard your old school had a swim team that smoked everyone, your freestyle swimmer, what's his name again?" I was sweating even more now, "Haruka Nanase," I was shocked at Tamaki, 'HOW DO YOU KNOW?' I mouth at him, he just gives a small grin, "Oh, also, you have a strange lunch Amajiki?" Some guy slaps his table, he flinches, "W-well, m-my q-quirk, i-it's weird," He was stuttering so bad, "Um, I don't remember asking you to ruin his day, so please just take your hand off his desk," I say sternly, "Yeah, but still, look, takoyaki, swordfish, shellfish? Weird choice don't you think?" The guy keeps going, Tamaki was trembling, "Well I don't think it's weird! I think that it makes him stronger, if you fought him, you wouldn't stand a chance!" I huff, crossing my arms, "Oh, is that so?" He charges up his quirk, I take a quick look at the output, fire, "I'm top of the school when it comes to quirk usage and combat!" He shows off his ability, I roll my eyes, "Wow... you can twirl some fire around, amazing." I say sarcastically, Tamaki chuckles, the guy glares at him, making Tamaki stop and shudder again, "This guy's like a kitten, afraid of anything and everything!" He was taunting him, I was angry I stand up, snatch Tamaki's hand and we march outside, "H-hey! Come back Kono! Wanna have lunch together?" He asks, I turn my head to the sky and continue walking through the corridors, "You ok Tama?" I ask him gently, "K-kind of, thanks bunny, you helped me out there," I smile, "What is the greatest girlfriend in the entire world good at!" I pose, he laughs, "You've got a point," He takes my hand and we decide to eat lunch together outside, "Ugh, that guy really riled me up, Hiroto wasn't it, he made me so mad when he was picking on you!" I land a strong punch at the ice pillar I created to let off some steam, Tamaki laughs, "No need to feel that strongly, it's fine, besides, I'm used to people saying how shy I am," He takes a bite out of his bento, I sigh, "But still..." I electrocute the pillar to make it melt back to water, "Let's go back, class is about to start again," He walks up to me, I nod and we walk back, "H-hey! Kono right?" I turn around to a boy with silver-grey hair, "I'm Sugawara Koshi! Nice to meet you, you can just call me Suga, we're in the same class!" I point my finger to my lip, "Ohhh! I remember your face, you sit up near the front don't you?" I ask him, he nods, "I was wondering if you would like to come over with us to the volleyball courts later today? You said you liked it after all?" He questions, "Sure, if Tamaki can come?" I gesture to Tamaki, "Of course! I'll come grab you after class!" I smile, "Sure, thanks!" He waves us off and heads down the corridor, "Well that was unexpected," Tamaki says, I nod. RING! "Oh that's the bell, let's go! Apparently it's quirk lesson, we'll smoke em'" I light up pulling my fist up, Tamaki chuckles, "Yeah, we'll beat them with flying colours, after all, we're from Iwatobi High School," He laughs, "Oh yeah! How do you know Haruka Nanase? I've heard of him but I've never really known him?" I ask Tamaki and we walk to class, "Oh he went to Mirio and my's elementary school, he would always be in the water. After a while, there were records broken by him, plenty in fact. All freestyle," He points out, "You know for someone as shy as you, you sure do pay attention," I giggle, he blushes, "Come on, let's get changed into our gym clothes," I nod, "Bye! See you at the field!" We part ways.
