The two Miya twins walk home from a long day at Inarizaki high, their parent-less household is left unattended until they come back from school. Atsumu flung his bag by the front door and went straight to the freezer for a cold beer, despite being underaged. Osamu sat down calmly and began his school work. Neither of them wanted to talk to the other, they have had a rough practice....Kita, their captain, caught them fighting they got in some trouble. Atsumu slid into the seat next to his brother, beer in hand.

"You shouldn't drink that much right after school, Tsumu." Osamu protested, he was the responsible one.

"I know I can change your mind by cracking open a cold one for ya." Atsumu raised a pestering eyebrow at his brother. Osamu sighed.

"You know me too well...pass me one, bitch."

The two of them laughed. Atsumu grabbed another bottle from the freezer and passed it to him along with the bottle opener. They somehow managed to finished their school work and drink at the same time, it was a talent of theirs. They decided they didn't want to get into anymore trouble by their captain tomorrow so they laid off the drinking soon after.

~Change of POV~

The final final bell rung at Itachiyama high, Kiyoomi Sakusa stood up from his desk and made his way through the crowded halls. He pulled his face mask up higher on the bridge of his nose and stayed away from the crowd until he made his way outside. Sakusa then started his walk back home to his father...he always dreaded his part of the day. There's no telling whether his abusive father will be in a good mood or bad. Sakusa opened the front door of his house hesitantly, his father was standing by the hallway in front of the door. Sakusa backed away, but his father's iron grip kept him in place.

After the event, Sakusa's face was blue and black, blood streaming down the side of his face. He stayed in the bathroom the rest of the day. He dialed Atsumu's number, he was saved on Sakusa's phone as "Tsum-Tsum". Sakusa waited for a reply.....soon enough someone answered.

"Hey Omi-Omi, what's up?" Atsumu asked.

"O-oh, just wanted to talk...." Sakusa held back tears, Atsumu knew well enough something was wrong....but didn't want to upset Sakusa by asking.

"Don't worry Yoomi, I'm here to listen..."

~Change of POV~

Kita and Aran were riding the bus home after practice, they always sat together on the bus. As the captain and ace of their team they were pretty powerful, even more so together. Kita sighed and faced Aran.

"I don't want to keep punishing the Miya's...but they never behave" Complained Kita. Aran shrugged.

"Well, maybe we should try to resolve their problems instead of punishing them. You never know what might be happening at their home...." Aran replied in a soothing voice. Aran's sweet, deep voice always calmed Kita down.

"True...I'll ask them tomorrow about it. Or maybe....Hey Suna!" Kita called out to the seat beside them. Suna looked over from the opposite side of the bus and took out an earbud.

"Ah, hey captain. Need something?" Suna asked.

"Yeah, we do. Uh, you're dating Samu, correct?" Kita asked in a totally serious tone. Suna nodded. "So, I just wanted to know...." Kita lowered his voice. "Has anything been happening at the Miya household lately? The twins keep getting in trouble and I don't know why."

"Uh..." Suna paused. Aran sat there quietly beside Kita, holding his hand below the bus seat. "Can we talk off the bus? We get off at the same stop anyways." Kita looked up at Aran, they both nodded.

"Yes, of course. I'll also keep any information disclosed and private." The bus stopped, Kita and Suna waved to Aran, who was waiting for the next stop, as they got off the bus.

The third and second year walked along a path not saying anything for a while. They made their way to a bench and sat down. Suna still had both earbuds in his ears and Kita needed time to relax. Kita took a deep, slow inhale and sighed quite loudly. Suna removed the earbuds from his ears signaling he was ready to talk, Kita sat at full attention.

"So, what's up with Tsumu and Samu is that their parents died...." Suna said, he looked away. Kita's eyes widened slightly, he put a hand on his middle blocker's shoulder.

"I'm so sorry to hear that....but can you please elaborate if you know more?" Suna nodded.

"Their dad, he was an alcoholic and he beat their poor mother. I heard she soon left them with their father, leaving them in the hands of an abusive, alcoholic mess..." Suna clenched his fist in anger, but released his muscles...he knew it wasn't their mother's fault. What else could she have done? "I saw on the news that a lady that looked similar to their mother was found dead in the woods a few days ago." Kita sat there in silence.

"A-and their father?" The Inarizaki captain asked quietly.

"He got into a car crash while drunk driving....I heard from Samu he died in the hospital a few days after." Suna brought his feet up onto the bench and hugged his knees, Kita hugged him.

"Hmm...Don't worry. I'm sure they'll be fine." Kita reassured him. Suna suddenly stood up started running.

"Sorry captain, talk to you tomorrow...." Suna ran off wiping his eyes. Kita just sat there, processing what has happened to his teammates. He soon stood up and began walking to his house.
