Chapter 12

It was a windy night in Paris and I was sitting and my desk sewing together a sweater I was making for Alya. I was staying at my parents for a while telling them that me and luka got into a fight they asked what about but I didn't tell them. It was a week after that happened you know prom. My crush on Adrien was getting bigger than ever and the feeling of Lukas toxic behavior was slowly fading my mind.

"Marinette Adriens here!" I jumped from my mom yelling but I put away the sewing supplies and went downstairs to see Adrien at the kitchen table.

"Hey Marinette uh you wanna go to the skating rink and ya know skate?" I noticed him fidgeting with his fingers. "Oh yea sure let me get dressed." It's Saturday and it's almost five in the afternoon and I still got my pjs on. "Ok I'll be outside." I quickly ran upstairs to my closet and changed as fast as I could.

I'm sitting in Adriens car and we are driving to the skating rink I bit my lip nervous I was gonna make a fool of myself at the rink. "Hey what are you thinking about bugaboo?" He looked at me with admiration. I know this sounds crazy but I think Adrien likes me.

"Oh nothing." I still haven't really showed emotion just blankness that's all really. "Luka on your mind?" Not gonna lie he looked pissed when he said that. "Uh...I haven't really thought about him." I was lying of course I thought about him not in that way though. "Has he called you any?" He's really been calling me so much I can't count.

"Yea he has a lot." He looked more pissed. "That bitch just wants attention that's all you've been ignoring him right?" He looked at me with the most beautiful face well he's always beautiful.

"Heck no why would I all I would hear is how much Of a slut I am or something." He softened his look and put the car in park. "Hey let's not pay attention to him besides we're here." He smiled a toothy grin.

We went into the skating rink and put on our skates. I'm a better skater then Adrien but I've tried to help him he usually gives up and sits out when its the four of us. But it's just us two for the first time. I kinda liked it.

Except when we went into the rink Adrien slipped and nearly face planted the floor it was funny and cute. Luckily I had my arms on him so I kinda broke his fall cause he was holding on to me. I was surprised when I didn't fall with him. When I helped him up when he rose his head up when he was standing he face was inches away from mine to the point I could feel his breath on my skin.

"Hey there." He was staring in my eyes and I was staring too. "Hey." I was breathless not knowing what to say. He then realized what he was doing then stopped staring. "Can you help me skate my lady?" I grabbed his hands and pulled him to me and started skating backwards. He yelped thinking he was gonna fall but doesn't fall. "Your not gonna fall if you pay attention."

I felt giddy inside and I haven't felt like that in a long time. "Hey you remember that field we used to go to before you and him happened?" I had a flashback the four of us having a picnic in the field. "Yea why?" I looked at him and he blushed.

"You wanna go there when we leave just us?" I bit my lip it's almost was almost 9 and my curfew was at 11 so I really didn't have anything to do. "Yea sure I loved too." A blush spread crossed my face but his blush got darker.

"Ok you wanna get something to drink?" He said trying to hold it together. "Yea sure kitty."
