First day

Y/N

i rush around my house to get ready for my first day of school.
"Y/N hurry up the bus is coming". i heard my sister yell to me. "i'm going as fast as i can." i replied, throwing things in my backpack. "not fast enough".

we arrived outside the bus stop just in time. i walked to the back of the bus and sat next to my friend avani with my other friends benji and jorge in the seat to the left of us.

"i heard we're getting a new student today". avani squealed. i didn't really care. i was pretty satisfied with the friends i already had. i gave avani a slight smile and went deep into my thoughts.

we arrived at school minutes later. our bus was always late so i was cutting it close with time. just as i closed my locker door the late bell for first period went off. "shit". i muttered to myself while running to my classroom. i opened the door panting out of breath.

"y/l/n ur late". miss.clutterbeak scowled at me. "right uh sorry about that". i avoided her eye contact and scanned the room for an open seat. i found one seat opened next to a brown haired freckled girl whom i've never seen before.

CHARLI POV

just as miss clutterbeak was about to start class a girl with brown eyes and a shirt over a sweatshirt ran into the room. i examined her features closely as she took a seat next to me.

TIME SKIP - LUNCH

Y/N POV

i walked into the lunch room and sat down next to avani jey jey and benji. "hey guys." i said. they all greeted me and we started talking. "uh y/n don't look now but someone is staring at you." i didn't care if people stared at me but i have a curious mind so i turned my body but just as i was about to see the person staring my sister was in front of me staring me down. "y/n eat now." she said sternly. "no i'm not hungry." i said kind of loudly so it brought attention to us. "mom would be so mad if she was here." i hated when my sister would guilt trip me into eating. she had done it so many times i was fed up with it. i got up and yelled "NO YOU CANT DO THAT YOU CANT BRING HER INTO EVERYTHING JUST TO GET ME TO DO SOMETHING!" i stormed out of the lunch room with everyone watching me. i went to the bathroom to hide in the stalls. i tried to calm myself down but it was hard. i kept on thinking of what my sister had said and then my mind wandered off to how numb i am. i heard a knock on the stall and instantly said "go away". i had myself curled up in a ball on the toilet. an unfamiliar voice filled the quite room. "please open the door." "who are u?" i said curious as ever. if you open the door i'll tell you. i rolled my eyes and opened the stall door. "i'm charli, charli damelio." she said whilst extending a hand for me to shake. i pushes away her hand and said okay. i walked over to the walk and slid my back down it, i curled into a ball with my face in my arms.

CHARLI POV

i'm surprised she didn't freak out like most people did when they knew who i was. i look at her and asked why she was getting yell at to eat. "i don't tell my personal business to people i don't know." she said in her arms muffling her sound. "oh ok." i said as she got out and walked out of the bathroom.

TIME SKIP - NEXT CLASS

Y/N POV
"ok class were gonna be doing a partner project." mrs.williams said. the room filled with murmurs from people picking their partners. none of my friends were in this class so i stayed silent. "settle down everyone. i will be picking your partners." everyone groaned as she started calling out names. "james and andrew, madi and jaden, harry and jacob, y/n and charli. ugh i thought to myself when i heard my name being called. now she's gonna wanna know everything. i put my head down on my desk and closed my eyes. i hear a loud noise and woke up. it was the bell. ugh i didn't even hear what i had to do for the project. i thought to myself. just as i was about to walk out the door i felt a hand pull my wrist. i looked back and it was the girl from the bathroom. what was her name again? karli? marli? crayola ? i don't know. "can you come to my house?" she asked. "sure that would probably be best so i can't see my sister." i mumbled the last part. "what was that?" she said. "oh nothing." i looked down and she grabbed my hand. we walked out the school door and there was a car waiting for us. ik you're not supposed to get into a strangers car but i do not give two shits if someone kidnapped me from my already terrible life. "hi sweety how was your first day of school?". i heard a voice say as i got in. "it was okay i guess, can my friend come over?" "sure, we can leave once dixie gets here." "where friends?" i whispered confused to her. "i don't even know your name, i forgot." she looked at me and said "well i'm charli." the car door opened and a dark haired girl came in and sat down she looked exactly like charli. she was caught off guard by me and said "ooo i see charli already got herself a girlfriend." charli looked down trying to control her blush. "woah woah woah slow your roll dude i didn't even know her name until moments ago." i said. "okay". the girl said and smirked. "well i'm dixie." she said. i introduced myself to her. we got to a big house. "woah, this is a way bigger than my place." i said while looking up at the house." "y/n does your mom or dad know your here?" their mom asked. "oh i uh i don't live with my parents it's just me and my sister." i looked down while i walked. "ok well you're always welcomed here." she said and walked into the door of the house. "thank you." i said. i didn't take her seriously with that. they don't even know the first thing about me. charli grabbed my hand and we went to her room. she closed the door and right as she did i got a call. "Y/N WHERE ARE YOU?!" she was so loud i had to hold my phone away from my ear. "i'm working on a project with a classmate." i said. "well go eat something right now or you're coming back home." i sighed said fine and hung up. "was that your sister?" charli asked. "yes." i replied. "why don't you eat?" she asked. she was getting to close to touchy subjects. "i-i have an eating disorder." i stammered and looked down in my lap. she picked up my chin with her hand and looked at me. she stared at me for a sec and said let's go get some food. "no it's fine i was just gonna tell her i ate already, we have to start our project." i said while getting out stuff from my backpack. "no we're going to eat right now." charli said sternly as she grabbed my hand and dragged me downstairs. i sighed and knew that there was no way of getting out of this one. she sat me down at a table and got food from the fridge. "what are you making?" i asked. "grilled cheese". i shook my head and laid my head down on the table i started to go to sleep again.

"y/n wake up food is ready." i woke up and looked at charli. "thanks." she looked at me and asked why i'm always sleeping. i took a deep breath. "i-it's because of the lack of nutrients in my body." her eyes wandered down in her lap. "oh" she said. "i should've never said anything." i said with a face palm. charli's eyes met mine. she had a questioned face on. "i can see that telling you all this stuff is hurting you and don't want to hurt more people." i said. i felt her hand on mine and my breath hitched. "it's fine, i want you to open up."

we spent the rest of the time doing our project and talking about random things. it was late by the time we were done so i decided to just sleep over. i started to make myself a bed on the floor when charli said "you can sleep in the bed with me." she started to blush. "alright thanks dude." i got into her bed. she turned around and went all the way to the side of her bed. i can be a bit of a flirt and i knew she liked me cause i'm not blind so i moved behind her a cuddled up next to her.
