Today

"comon Ed stop dragging" i hear a voice from outside the door

"what time is it" i try to roll over but Nick still has his grip on me "baby" i groan as i tap him
"five more minutes" his morning voice came out, i heard someone knock on the door. "yeah? come in" it was Zion

"does Nick still have that red hoodi- why are you guys still in bed, get your asses up"

"well he won't let me move"

"mhm" Nick says as if he's proud

"bro come on you can sleep on the plane" Nick grumbles at him not making any type of english "don't make me get the megaphone"

"okok i'm up"

"thank you" i mouth to Zion

"no problem, soo the red hoodie?"

"closet" Nick says with his face in the pillow "ugh now i have to pack"

"hol up YOU DIDNT PACK" Zion yells from the closet

"uhh"

"we're fucked, well thanks" Zion says sarcastically "we're gonna miss our flight thanks to you"

"see i told you to pack"

"fine i'll start right now" he starts going in circles "where did i put my suitcase Zariia?" i let him go crazy for another minute until i tell him "it's been right here the whole time bozo and it's packed with everything in it"

"mhm, sure"

"well don't just stand there, let's go, you're being mad slow" he laughs

"you have no right sir, dont start with me when it's this early in the morning"

"yea" Nick says being a part of our conversation

"um you too mr. megamind" i turn my head to Nick

"nah bro your shit is protruding" Zion says making me laugh too loud "pfft Zion"

"this is why you're my least favorite"

"quit playing, you know you love me!"

"andd this is the reason why i hate middle seats and weren't you tired Nick?"

"yeah but-"

"go ahead and use my shoulder, you need your rest from the insane packing yesterday" i say sarcastically

"you know, it's cute when you're sarcastic" he gives me his other earbud "oh really?" i add "yup" i let out a little giggle while he puts on the playlist that i made when i was bored and had his phone "the Zariia channel just for you" i laugh at him

"stop making me laugh and go to sleep baby" i smile up at him and put my head on his shoulder while i take his hand and hold it. being like this with him made me feel like it was only us two on this plane and nothing else mattered.

"what is this trash?" and then he ruins it

"look at you, ruining- just skip it" he laughs at my annoyance and i just roll my eyes and go back to the bliss that i was in before.

"Zariia look" Zion taps me

"yeah?" i mutter

"the city lights, they're mad pretty" i move my head to see what Zion was talking about and it was really pretty "you wanna take some pictures on vsco or something" i tease him "ha funny" he looks at me a straight face but ends up smiling as always "well the plane is about to land"

"oh yeah you're right, remind me to text Karter when we land" that's my big brother and all the boys know him because him and my other brother Jahlil visit me for fun a lot

"k, havent seen him in a minute, Jahlil gonna be there too?"

"nah he's in North Carolina with his dad, he was supposed to be coming with him but he's sick or something"

"oh aii, i hope he feels better"

"yea me too i miss his bum ass" i put my head back on Nick's shoulder. we landed and all i saw were sleepy faces dragging along to the nearest dunkins to get some food while i'm on the phone about to call Karter to come get us from the airport "babe you want something" Nick asks as he lets go of my hand slowly
"nah i'm good, you can go" i take a seat and call my bother "hey bro, you ready to pick us up"

"yea i'm like 30 minutes away" 

"no you're not, your still in bed"

"you know too much" he hangs up.

"here you go"Nick hands me an iced coffee "but-"

"i know, i know, you said you didn't want anything but i know that you'd be sipping off of mine and wishing you got one"

"aww you know me too well...now can i get a sip of yours?" i joke with him and he shakes his head and laughs.

"guys Karter said he's gonna be here soon so i guess we can start walking to the entrance" the six of us walk out together and the car was right there which never happens and it was weird. "Karterrr" i walk up to him a give him a big hug "hey zj, you ready for the trip"
"hell yeah" every hops in after saying hi to Karter and gets comfortable, i'm in the back with Nick, i pick up my phone to face time Jahlil and tell him that i wish he was here right now. he keeps on saying that he feels like crap and i just keep telling him to drink water take vitamins, medicine and rest, but he tells me "that what we have gatorade for" i tell him to take me seriously and listen i think he does for the most part...i tell him and me and Karter love and miss him a lot and weirdly for the first time in forever, instead of just hanging up he actually said "i love you" back, it sent chills down my spine and i don't even know why
