The crew woke up to the smell of pancakes. Where did the ingredients come from? Only Marinette knew.

She had woken up early to start breakfast for her friends, so she went out to gather blueberries, and while doing so, she stumbled upon a supply shed. There she found packaged goods that had been stored away as a precaution, should a cyclone arrive.

She headed back to the cabin and started cooking. She replaced the gas bottle with a new one and cleaned most of the kitchen. Minutes later the room was filled with a blueberry pancake aroma floating into all the rooms, waking up the others.

"damn, am I hungry." Sleepy Nino was quite a sight. His glasses crooked, his shirt wrinkled and his socks uneven.

"finally, no more oats!"  The twins groaned

They all sat down and began to eat. Talking about who will clean what, and who will drive them to the old shopping centres tomorrow . Their plans were interrupted by Marinette.

"while you people were sleeping, I found something, follow me.'' They set down their empty plates and followed her outside.

Much to their surprise, she had found a garage. And inside, there were several vehicles. There were quadbikes, motorbikes, and more than enough fuel to power a city. Things were taking a turn for the better.  For now.

"okay, let's get to work. Keith, josh take Ayla and Nino with you, you'll clean out most of the house, your rooms and the garden out the back.'' They nodded and got to work.

"Logan, Mikey, I need you to put up the safety fences around the camp, you can take one of the bikes. Don't crash, got it?'' they smirked and headed off.

"anything I can do?'' Adrien asked, being the only one left.

"yeah, I'm going to go check if they still have most of the training weapons down at the river, you can come with me if your up for it.'' She looked at him, while grabbing keys to one of the quad bikes.

He nodded and sat down on the seat just behind her. She started the engine, and they headed out to the docks.

The trip didn't take long, so when they arrived, they took their time to look for anything they could use to defend themselves, in case of an attack.

"you got anything? I only found wood weapons, not really gonna do the job though.'' He exclaimed from the other side of the shed.

"oh, wait.  Think I got it.'' As she said that, he dropped the wooden weapons and walked towards her. She climbed onto of one of the Crates and reached for one of the pillars supporting the roof, climbing backdown with a key in her hand.

"when I was little, our mentors trained us here. I know they must have some sort of weapon room they have one in everyone of their camps.''

"how do you know so much about this camp? Were you trained here?'' the boy seemed curious, there was no way she was trained at the same academy as him. That was impossible.

"oh umm, yeh kinda. This is only a camp. My Father....'' she stopped for a second. Could she even call him her father? He certainly doesn't act like one. Did he really deserve that title?

"Marinette''

What was he to her? Just a guardian? No, they were supposed to protect, he did the complete opposite. He killed her brother. His own son.

"Marinette, are you okay?'' the boy tried to snap her out of her daze, but failed.

He was nothing to her. Not anymore. He betrayed her, and that was final.

"Mari.''

Who knew one nickname could make such a dazed person, completely aware of the world around her.
