"Hey sis, what's with the water works?" Maya fills me in on what happened to our parents, and that while on patrol a villain ambushed them and killed without a second thought to the matter. Tears start pouring down my face as. My left hand begins to illuminate a dark red glow, Touka opens her mouth as she notices my hand "Jay? Are you ok and what's with your hand?" She grabs my hand and holds it up, showing everyone a scar from what happened while I was asleep. "What happened? Why is your hand full of dark matter?" Maya looks at me worried and it reminds me of how mum used to look at me when I used to get hurt as a kid.
I explain what happened and how I have two quirk that have combined to one and, I can use both separately if I train hard enough and how the dark matter inside of me, is reason why my left hand is like this.
"So all that happened while you were asleep, holy shit" Phil sits down and takes in everything he just heard while Touka is sitting on the end of the bed I'm laying in, Mr K, the principal are standing and so is maya. I sit up more and stand up, Maya grabs onto me and holds up so I can get my stand straight "are you okay Jay? Can you stand by yourself?" She slowly lets go and I can get used to standing again. "Well kid you pulled through, you might be stronger than me" Mr K walks over and messes up my hair and the principal sighs in relief and smiles, I guess she's not an asshole after all.
A few days have past since I woke up, when I got back to the dorms I was greeted with a feast and my own room and bed again. I walk in my room, and it hasn't been changed in the 5 days I was asleep. I lay down on my bed and feel something when my head hits the pillow "what the? It's the mask." I completely forgot about it maybe I should put it on?- "hey Jay, are you in here?" Phil slips his head through the door, and sees me holding the mask "woah! Is that a mask? Where'd you get it?" He's really interested in it but I don't even know who gave it to me. He grabs it out of my hands, but drops it as the area around the mask begins to gets cold enough to cause frost bite.
"Holy shit, what is up with your mask?" He looks at me surprised and confused, "I don't know, the mask got sent to me by someone I don't know". We talk a little bit and after that we chilled for a bit. My door opened and Touka walked in and sat down on my bed while Phil and I were on the floor playing video games.
"Hello~ you know I'm here right?" Touka wants attention from two guys who are playing video games, "fine then, guess you won't get to train with Mr K and Miss Maya then. hehe". there's about a second of silence then Phil's eyes sparkle "WAIT, WE GET TO FIGHT TWO PRO HEROES!! THAT'S FUCKIN SWEEET" he yells this with all his excitement, enough to bring down the entire dorm. He runs back to his room to get changed into his gym clothes, Touka kneels down and grabs my shoulder "you comin' Jay?" she waits for my response, I mean of course I'm coming I wanna see them use their quirks in action. "Yeah of course I'm coming" I smile at her and she smiles back and walks to her room to get changed as well-...
