Once there lived a girl who was loved and cherished by her parents the most.

They would give her everything she wanted, from toys, books, dresses, and many more.

The girl lived a carefree life just as her parents wanted.

It was until she turned 15 when her mother got sick and eventually died the following month.

After her mother passed, she often stared at the window and wishing that it was all just a dream and her mom would come back.

The once cheerful and outgoing girl became introverted and dull.

The people around her tried to cheer her up every day. They hosted tea parties, gave her gifts, brought her to play, but none of them worked.

Half a year passed and everyone slowly moved on. Everyone except her.

The girl wanted to know why her mother died.

She clearly remembers her mother's words. She was just having a slight cold but it got worse by the day.

The girl wanted to know the truth yet she can't do anything. She had no power, no influence, she had nothing in her name.

She swore to find the truth once she had the power to, but little did she know, her life would be worse than hell.

"Did you hear? The Old master brought a woman home last night"

"Really?! How could the Old Master do that? The Madam just passed away recently, hasn't she?"

The girl suddenly stopped to listen to their maids' conversation.

"From what I heard, the woman was the late Madam's old friend."

"Shhh! Watch what you say if you still want to see the sun tomorrow."

The girl was dumbfounded by what she just heard. She wanted to ask the maids what they were talking about, who they were talking about, when she heard a vase broke in her parents' room.

She rushed to their room and opened the door only to see a woman and her father on the same bed, naked.

Her mother's favorite porcelain vase shattered on the floor and her parents' wedding picture torn into pieces.

"You-What the f*ck are you doing?!"

Her father was startled when he heard her daughter curse. He immediately pushed the woman aside and put on some clothes.

The woman fell off the bed. Still confused about what's happening, she dared to look up, and met the girl's stern gaze.

She hurriedly put on some clothes and tried to run out of the room when the girl stood by the door, blocking it completely.

The girl glared at the woman kneeling in front of her.

"Dad? W-what are you doing?!" The girl asked but got no response.

The girl's body was trembling in anger.

"ANSWER ME! MOM JUST PASSED AWAY AND YOU'RE ALREADY SCREWING ANOTHER WOMAN?!"

Shock was evident from the woman's face when the girl yelled yet it wasn't enough to get any response from her father.

The girl was losing her patience. She grabbed the woman's hair, starting to drag her out of the room when her father finally spoke.

"From today onwards she shall be the new Madam of the house," he pointed at the woman on the floor. "Everyone is to follow her orders and respect her as you respect me."
