Chapter 11

He couldn't see you in the crowd, but he knew you were listening between all the fans. You covered your mouth with your hands and couldn't hold back your tears.

"Y/N, you are my better half, my one and only, the love of my life", he said in a deep voice as a tear fell down his cheek, "and I'm asking you... if you want to stay with me for the rest of our lives? Y/N, will you marry me?"

All the fans screamed and cheered so loud that it hurt in your ears. You were so surprised and touched by his words that you were full on sobbing and not able to say a word. You only nodded not believing that he had just proposed to you.

"Yes, yes I do", you whispered to yourself while the members hugged Taehyung smiling on the stage. You needed to see him. Now.

You turned around and made your way through the crowd. It was really hard because it was really cramped and you couldn't even see right, because your vision was blurred by your tears.

You reached the fence and luckily a security guard recognised your face. He helped you get behind the fence and lead you backstage.

As you came closer to the exit, where he would be coming off stage, you walked faster and faster until you started running. You heard the crowd cheering again and you knew they just said goodbye and ended the concert.

You quickened your pace and saw Taehyung walking off stage. The tears returned to your eyes as he noticed you and beamed at you. You ran into his arms and buried your face into his neck shaking from the sobs.

He wrapped his arms tightly around you and held you close to him. After a few moments he gently pulled away taking your hands in his. You looked at him with teary eyes. His hair was ruffled from the concert and his skin was glowing. A boxy smile showed on his lips as he went on his knees and inhaled.

"Y/N, now I'm asking you again: will you marry me?", he asked pulling a small box with a shiny ring out of his pocket.

"Yes, YES!", you said and your hands trembled when he put the ring on your finger. You were overwhelmed by pure happiness and didn't know what to do.

He got off from his knees and brought his face close to yours. He cupped your face in his hands and captured your lips in a sweet kiss filled with pure love. You rested your hands on his chest and breathed out.

"I love you", you whispered and he stroked your cheek.

"I love you too", he said and kissed you again, "and now, please come with me." He intertwined his fingers with yours and guided you towards the stage.

"Wait, what? - I'm not going on stage", you said panicking and held him back.

"Please, babe", he said passing his thumb over your cheek, "I want to show my fiancé to Army and share this beautiful moment with them."

"But, I don't know..", you said feeling insecure about your looks and the huge crowd waiting for you.

"You look perfect just the way you are", he whispered, "don't be shy." You bit your lower lip and nodded slowly. His eyes sparkled and he grabbed a mic and went on stage with you.

The lights were blinding you at first and you were shyly following Taehyung. The next moment the air was filled with loud cheering. You looked up and were left completely shocked by the huge crowd and all the army bombs glowing in purple.

"Army!", he said into the mic pulling you close, "she said yes!"

They were cheering even louder making you smile in pure happiness. He wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you into a kiss.

You didn't care that more than ten thousand people were watching you. You only knew that you were Taehyung's soon to be wife. You couldn't believe your luck and it would take some time until it sinks in.

Taehyung thanked his fans and told them goodbye. You waved shyly and walked from the stage holding hands with Taehyung, the cheers still in your ears.

Backstage the members ran excitedly towards you and hugged you both congratulating you.

"You wouldn't know how nervous he was", Namjoon said ruffling Tae's hair. You smiled and kissed Taehyung's cheek.

"I can't wait till the marriage", Jimin said agitated.

"You know, each of you'll have three witnesses", Jin said laughing.

"And six uncles", Yoongi added and everyone laughed while Taehyung pulled you to his chest to kiss you.
