Dear Mrs. Dottin,
This and all of Sonia's letters are a surprise to me. I'm afraid I don't know your daughter, nor did I travel anywhere during the summer. Perhaps she was talking about a different Romeo? Well, seeing the number of letters she has sent, maybe that isn't possible.
Of course, I would like to meet the family of the sender of the mysterious letters. I would love to be present at her funeral. It is quite sad that a wonderful writer like her has passed away, but I hope she lived a happy life despite her illness. I am a writer myself, you see. In fact, I just released a new book when summer started. All of the events in her letters were quite similar to the ones in the book.
I hope to see you soon,
Romeo Esslemont
