One of those days...

"What's wrong sweetheart? You haven't touched your dinner."
You sigh and stop poking at the mac n' cheese on your plate.
"It's just one of those days, Lauren."
Lauren finishes washing the dishes and comes to your side, motioning you to stand. She hugs you tight and peppers your face in kisses, not stopping until a smile creeps on your face.
"I understand baby.. Lets go lie down."
She picks you up effortlessly and sets you on the couch. She lays down next to you and pulls you close. Her sweet vanilla scent fills your lungs as you unwind in her arms. All of your worries fade away as she whispers sweet nothings in your ear and traces circles on your side.
"You'll always be my girl."
You admire her features as she gazes into your eyes, her loving touch sending you into a trance that could never be broken. You bury you face in the crook of her neck as tears trail down your face.
"Thank you for always being there for me Lolo..."
"Of course. I could never leave my baby unattended."
You smile at her reassuring words as she wipes your tears.
"Kiss me?"
Lauren smiles at your cuteness and kisses you passionately, her warm lips colliding with yours. You giggle at the mac n' cheese flavored kiss and kiss her nose.
"Gosh, you are such a cutie."
She pinches your beet red cheeks and furrows her eyebrows, placing the back of her hand on your forehead.
"You're warm babe. Am I making you too hot?."
Though that's the truth you say no to prevent her from getting up.
"It's my hoodie..."
"Take it off. I dont want you going into a heat coma."
You look away and ignore her request. She notices your discomfort and cups your face.
"What's wrong? Was it something I said?"
"No I just...I dont want- you to um.. See me without, ya know. Im just gross I dont know."
Tears well in your eyes at your hurtful words. She pulls you in tight and kisses your neck.
"Don't you ever think about yourself that way baby. You are perfect in my eyes; everything I've wanted and more. Take it off and let me show you how much I love you."
