Jimin's POV

J: I'll meet you at the train station ^^
S: sounds great, see you at 11

Jungkook is helping me get ready for my date with Skylar. He's been helping me get better at English the past few days to impress her. Normally I would ask Namjoon, but lying to him is impossible, especially when I suck at lying. Plus, JK has gotten better at English for the interviews, so he's the next best thing.

"Hyung, are you really going to wear that?"

I look down at my outfit. A beanie, a leather jacket over a white t-shirt and black jeans. "What's wrong with what I'm wearing?"

"If she doesn't already know that we're famous she'll probably suspect something if you show up in all designer clothes." He whacks the beanie off my head.

He has a point. "Jungkook-ah, when did you get so smart?" I tease.

"I'm becoming Namjoon." He puts his feet up on the table.

I whack his legs off like he did to my hat. "You wish." I go to the closet and pick out a gray sweater. It's one of my favorites. I wore it in the boy with Luv dance practice. I pair it with some shorter heels and keep my jeans on. "This good?" I ask JK.

"Perfect!" He says in English. "Say hi to Jihyun for me." He teases.

"Piss off." I laugh, putting my sunglasses on and heading out to meet Skylar.

Skylar's POV

I check myself in the mirror for the third time this morning. I'm wearing the gray skater dress that Rachel picked out for me. I paired it with some leggings and Jimin's jacket, hoping he won't find it weird that I'm basically obsessed with it now. I've straightened my auburn hair, pulling it into a low pony with some pieces to frame my face.
"Quit hogging the mirror, I'm supposed to meet up with the ladies. You wanna come, since you're such a big fan of Kpop now?" Kara spits.
"No thanks, I have a date."
"Pffft, with who? Jacob?" Jacob is one of the 2 guys in the Korean study program. The other is Carl, and he's very much dating Sheila.
"Ew, no. I met someone." I smile to myself.
"Gross." Kara says. "You know, we have to go back at the end of the semester, so I doubt–"
I grab my purse and leave the dorm room before I have to hear any more of Kara's shrill voice.

It's 10:45 and I'm almost at the train station. It's not too far a walk from Campus. I hate being late. I text Jimin.

S: hey! I'm almost at the station. Are you close?
J: just got there. I think I see you

I look up from my phone, and sure enough Jimin is standing at the platform, waving. He's wearing a very cute gray sweater and his jeans fit him extremely well. I know he's showing me around his hometown but I don't think I'll be able to take my eyes off of him. I approach nervously, plastering a smile on my face.

"Hey!" I say.

"Hi, Skylar." He says. In English. In his adorable accent. "I got us tickets." Again, in English. He hands me mine. The next train comes at 10:55. Good thing we were both early. (A/n: we're just gonna pretend he knows english now bc hes a secretly fluent king)

"So," I start. "How was work yesterday?"
He seems to relax. "It was very tiring."
"What do you, um, do?" Maybe he'll tell me on his own.

"I'm a performer." He says cautiously.
Under his sunglasses, I can tell that he's studying my reaction. "You know, don't you?"

"Know what?" I pretend to be oblivious.

"Skylar." He puts a hand on my shoulder, sending a chill through my body. "You're not very good at lying."

The train whistle startles us both. Jimin sighs and offers his hand. I scream internally and grab it as he pulls me onto the train. There's an open bench seat with a table. Rather than sit across from me, he squishes in right next to me and I'm very very aware of how close his body is to mine. He leans forward and rests his elbow on the table, supporting his head in his hand to look at me. He takes off his sunglasses and smiles. "So, when did you find out?"

I sigh. I'm not gonna play dumb anymore. "The day I tried to give your jacket back."

His eyes widen. "That long? So you've had plenty of time to find out all about me, huh?" He teases.

I feel my cheeks flame. I did look him up. I know that he's an incredible dancer, an incredible singer, and very very sweet when it comes to the rest of BTS. My eyes wander down his shirt. I also know that he has incredible abs.

He laughs. "So you've seem them."

"Oh my gosh." I hide my face in my hands and he laughs at me again. I really said that last part out loud, didn't I? "I'm sorry. Are you mad? Please don't be mad."

"I'm not." He peels my hands away from my face and takes them in his. "I looked up stuff about you, too."

"You– you did?"

He nods. He's still holding my hands. He's wearing so many rings.

"I couldn't find much about you, specifically, but I tried to learn about American girls. American fans are crazy."

"Yeah" I laugh. "I know all about that. What else did you find out?"

"I looked up dating rules."

"Rules?" I smirk.

"Yes. Like, in Korea, we don't kiss on the first date."

"You don't?" I blurt out, then proceed to cover my face in embarrassment for what seems like the millionth time today. He's laughing at me. Again. He puts an arm around my shoulder and rubs my arm as he pulls me against him. I hide my face in his sweater.

"Don't worry. I break the rules sometimes."

My breath hitches. Is he gonna try and kiss me? I'm freaking out. I'd probably end  up passing out against him. Softly, he starts to speak to me in Korean. No, he's singing. I recognize it: "Serendipity." I move my hands and look up at him. He smiles but doesn't stop. I smile back then look ahead, letting my eyes close. Before I know it, I've drifted off to sleep against his shoulder.
