They went home after a few hours of cloud gazing, and enjoying the breeze. When Albert unlocked the door. The first thing he realized was everything was a mess.

He didn't know what, or who trashed his house. He swore he'd find out. He went to Kirsten's room, but it turned up empty. He went back to the living room seeing Kaden clean up.

"You don't have to do that." "No it's fine Albert." Kaden gave Albert a reassuring smile, before going back to cleaning up. Albert sighed and helped Kaden help him.

When they finished Albert told Kaden to follow him. They went up to her room and investigated again. "I think she left." When Kaden said that Albert quickly turned.

"Why do you say that?" Kaden gave Albert a note, Albert read it quickly.

Dear Albert,

I don't love you anymore. I've taken my leave. Maybe one day you'll know why I broke up with you, but your naive. It's not that I don't like you. It's that you love someone else. I hope you can understand. I will always love you.

Yours truly,
Kirsten

Albert wiped away the tears. He sniffled and turned to Kaden. He burst out in tears, and squeezed Kaden tightly chocking up nonsense. He finally managed to form a sentence. "She l-left me."

He cried as Kaden held him. Kaden brought him to his bedroom. Albert flopped down onto his bed holding Kaden. Kaden settled in to Albert's warmth. He could still hear whimpers and small whines but he seemed calmer.

Kaden knew what he felt. He had gone through it too. It was betrayal. Not a good feeling at all. He and Albert both. Within the same week. Kaden didn't know why, but something in him made him feel worse for Albert than for himself.

They drifted to sleep. Albert still clutching tightly to Kaden. Kaden didn't mind it. They were friends, and this was normal for friends.

Right?
