Write a quick love story.
The shining knight enters the darkened hall. He looks ahead. The woman of his dreams stands there at the altar. He walks down the hall, his hand on his hilt. The woman Smiles at him. She is dressed in that same black gown. He draws his blade. She keeps that same unknowing smile across her lips. He drops his blade, tears swell in his eyes. She tilts her head, questioning. He falls to his knees, he cries. She closes the distance between them. Her bare left hand touches his shoulder. He looks up at her. She is smiling that same hauntingly beautiful smile. She puts the sword's hilt back in the knight's hand. She holds the blade to her heart. He shakes his head. She nods. She embraces him. He feels the red cover his hands. She smiles at him. He watches the life fade from her eyes.
The old man wakes in a cold sweat. He clutches his ring. He cries.
