I find the boat and see that no one is on deck so I assume Cameron is inside. I knock on the door but there is no answer. Instead of knocking again I decide to open the door because I know Cameron isn't gonna let me in.

I open the door and see Cameron sitting with his head in his hands and his elbows rested on a granite island on one side of the room. He sits in a white stool that matches two others also lined up against the counter.

"What did I say about knocking" Cameron says concerned when he looks up and sees me. His eyes are red and puffy, making it obvious that he had been crying.

I take a seat on a white couch that is in the center of the room. It is lined up with a large TV. In between the TV is a black coffee table. On the other side of the room is the kitchen and the island. I also see a door and assume it leads to the bathroom.

"Sorry." I say and hold up the bag of Cheetos and a container of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice cream.

"It's okay" He smiles a bit and signals for me to bring the food over.

I set the food down on the table and he grabs two forks, two spoons, and some leftover Mexican food from a mini fridge.

We begin to eat when Cameron asks, "So, what did Taylor say about me?"

I frown immediately. "Well she told everyone you were on the football team because your dad was the coach but no one believed that. They all said how good you were."

Cameron blushes shyly. I laugh quietly at him.

"But, she also said your dad left after you killed your sister in a car accident."

Cameron's eyes fill with tears.

"I-Is that true?" I ask wearily.

He nods and a few tears slip from his eyes.

"Cameron I-"

"No. It's fine" He says and looks away.

"Wh-Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I didn't want you to think I could hurt you." He says quietly.

It's silent for a while.

"Cameron?" I say quietly.

"Yeah?"

"I'm gonna figure this out" I say. "Everything will be okay."

He nods.

I clean up the food that we ate and put the ice cream in the freezer. Cameron turns on the TV and we watch "That 70's show" together. After watching two episodes and thinking the whole time, I think I have a solution.

"Cam, I think I have an idea."

"Hm?" He asks and turns to me.

"Well you know how you told everyone my parents are on a business trip and your watching me?"

He nods slowly and confused.

"Well I can tell everyone the truth. Everyone will know how good of a person you are and I won't have to worry about keeping secrets anymore."

"Are you sure you want to do that?" He asks.

"Yes it's fine!" I assure him.

"Well, I guess it would work..."

"It will!" I say and smile. I hide how nervous I am about telling everyone.
