Chapter 7

Two days later......

Adrian did not call Aria back. He forgot. But today he would come home. Aria was tense. It was really bad for the baby. Then, the doorbell rang. It was her hubby standing there. He hugged her. "Hello," he said. "Hi," she replied.

He sat on the couch and sighed. "Ummm, Adrian?" she asked. "Yes?" he asked. "Ummmm. When your doctor came a day before yesterday. He said that...." she could not continue. "That you are pregnant. I know," he said and looked down. Aria knew the doctor had told him...

"You are happy right?" she asked. "I have mixed emotions," he said. She sighed. "I don't think I will be a good dad," he said. "Hey, you will be a great dad. Trust me," she said. "And you will be a great mom," he said.

"I need a shower," he said and got up. She pulled him back down and looked at his forehead. It was a bruise. She touched it and that made him blink. "Why such a bad bruise?" she asked. "The fighter hit me too hard," he replied.

She caressed his wound. He loved the feeling of her fingers on his forehead. "Go shower, I will out a lotion for you," she said. "No it's ok," he said. "I am not asking, I am telling you. Wait for me in the bedroom after you shower," she said.

He sighed. She went to the kitchen to prepare something for dinner. He loved the care she showed towards him. No one had ever cared so much for him. He got up and went to shower.

A few minutes later....

Aria entered their bedroom to see Adrian in his towel. She gulped. "Ummm, dinner is ready," she said. "Oh, but I thought you were gonna put cream on my wound?" he said. "oh, yeah," she said and sat one the bed. He sat in front of her.

She applied lotion on his wound. "Does it hurt?" she asked. "Not really," he said. Soon, she was done.

They had dinner and slept...

Midnight.....

Adrian looked at his pregnant wife. He could not believe she was pregnant. But he felt that baby will give them the most happiest life ever....
