"What? I thought you and that guy would end up together?" Maddie frowned.

Umiling naman ako.

"Well, two years ago, I caught him cheating." I simply said.

"May ka-momol ba naman sa condo niya. Syempre hihiwalayan agad ni Jho."

"Ate Ells!" saway ko kay ate Ella na napakaingay ng bunganga.

Maddie just chuckled na halos maibuga niya yung tinapay na nginunguya niya.

"So he cheated on you? Really? Sa itsura ng lalaking yun? Sa itsura mong yan? Hinayaan mong lokohin ka ng hinayupak na yun, Jhoana?"

Hindi ko ba alam kung nagbibiro ba siya or nagagalit siya.

"Hindi ko naman alam na ganon eh. Three years, and I thought I knew him already. Pero ano pa nga bang magagawa ko? Edi nag-move on na lang ako. Besides, it's already two years since that happened, Mads. Hindi siya malaking kawalan sa akin." I smiled at her.

Napa-oooohhhhh naman sina ate Ella at Deanna na tawang tawa.

"Pero bes, you know how much I hate that you are being cheated on by someone. Especially that Nico Evangelista. I just can't believe he did that to you." umiiling-iling na sabi nito sa akin.

"Sorry. Ikaw naman kasi eh. Almost four years tayong walang contact with each other. Tapos ngayon mo lang naman ako minessage that you're already back."

"So, after two years, may jowa ka na ba ulit?" she teasingly asked.

I rolled my eyes at her.

"Wala nuh. I'm focused with myself right now. Marami pa akong gustong gawin sa buhay bilang single." I told her.

"Sus. Eh may hinihintay kasi yang babaitang yan." ate Ella interjected.

"And I think, dumating na." Deanna smiled playfully and I saw ate Ella smirked.

Nag-apir pa ang mga bruha.

"Mga sira-ulo..." I uttered. "Anyways, bakit ka nga pala umuwi na?" I asked her.

"Well..." she swallowed the donut she was eating before continuing her statement. "There's a big company that's planning to make a club team to compete in the PVL and they want to sign me as a player for them." she winked after she said it.

"Wow! Talaga? Pero anong club team yan?" ate Ella asked curiously.

"I don't know yet. Basta they just said that after my stint in Japan, which is already my last contract outside the country, the company actually wanted me to go home immediately. Mahirap na daw baka maunahan pa raw sila ng ibang club teams." she laughed harmoniously.

"Lakas talaga ate Mads. Kung ano mang club team yan, well, see you sa PVL." Deanna confidently said.

"Sure." Maddie confidently smiled.
