Life isn't always perfect

Part 3

Dinner was great I had a burger and a milkshake. I had payed of course and we headed out and drove down the road to a gas station to fill up our tanks. After I payed for gas I got a text from my dad.
ROSE ANN WILSON YOU ARE A DISGRACE yada yada yada
I guess kaylee told him a lie. I read the text over and over. I blocked his number and then deleted it, he couldn't do anything not even taking money away from my bank account. It was all mine. Phone and everything I owned.
Told ya I would find a way to tell him if you didn't come to the party
Well I wasn't in town anymore so they couldn't do anything to me. I was going to say something but I did what I did to my dad's number. I blocked her and then deleted her number. I did all of that while getting gas into my car.
"Why are you smiling" David says behind me smiling.
"Oh drama" I say smiling from ear to ear.
"Ready?" I ask once the pump beeps signaling my cars full. He nodded and walked back to his car and got in. I put the pump back and got in my car and started it up. I drove off with David behind me. It had been another hour of driving and I still hadn't found a place to stay. I pull over in the town we were in and get out. David does the same but instead of staying by his car he walks over to me.
"You okay" he ask frowning.
"I'm sorry I've made you come all this way out here and we haven't found a place for me" I say looking down. I feel his arms wrapped around me and I hugged him back.
"Shh it's okay I don't care as long as you're out of that shit hole" he says making me laugh. I looked up at him while he looked down at me.
"What would I do without you as a real friend?" I ask him smiling.
"You would probably be dead by now" he says. It's true I use to run to his house when my dad was very drunk and would try to hit me. I get up on my top toes and kiss his cheek. He smiles down at me saying nothing. We were good friends and he had his eyes on someone.
"We should get going and try to find somewhere for you to stay" he says smiling still.
"Yeah we should try to find a hotel or something" I say still smiling.
We got in our cars and drove for a little while  we finally found an apartment called Harbor Beach. We parked right next to each other and got out.
"Ready to see if there is a room you can stay in?" David asks smiling. He's happy that I'm gone from that hell hole I've lived in since I was young. I can tell and it makes me happy that's he knows I'll be safe now.
"I'm ready but a little nervous" I say giving a slight laugh. He gives out a little chuckle while looking at me.
"Are you guys looking for a apartment here?" Someone ask us. We looked around and saw a tall guy with brown hair and baby blue eyes looking at us.
"I am" I say. Why did he want to know? We don't know him at all.
"The name is Liam Smith" Liam says. I smile at him.
"I'm rose Wilson and he is David Clark" I say to Liam.
"Nice to meet you both" he says smiling.
"Nice to meet you too!" I say smiling back at him.
" I will say the place is nice and all but it's dangerous around here especially for a girl" he says. I don't think he was trying to be rude but David took it offensively.
"What's that supposed to mean huh? That she can't defend herself because she can!" He practically yelled that at Liam.
"What? No I mean bad people are in this area like drug dealers and stuff" Liam says taken aback at David's sudden out burst.
"Oh" David says looking embarrassed.
I'll show you a nice place to live that is in a good area and close to where I live so if you need anything I can come straight over and help you" Liam says smiling.
"Thanks" I say smiling. I've never actually had a crush on a boy before but Liam was sure cute but he's probably taken. We all got in our own cars, David and I followed Liam to a nice apartment complex close to his house.
"Wow this is really pretty" I say looking around at all the beautiful surroundings. We all go into the main building so I can buy a room and once I pay for the first month and get keys and go see where my apartment is. It's a perfect two bedroom apartment with a small balcony with two bathrooms. All three of us get my bags and take them up to my apartment and set them down in the living room.
"I'll help David get the bed frame and mattress up here and I'll help get the frame set up" Liam says.
"Thank you but you don't have too you've already done enough" I say grinding from ear to ear.
"But I want to" he says back looking at me and smiling causing me to blush a little. The boys got the mattress in and I told them just to leave it out of the way until we got the frame set up, once they got the frame set up we got the mattress into the frame and I had looked for my sheets to put on my bed.
"I still need my dresser and desk" I say sitting on my bed. I am tired but I still need to unpack everything.
"We can get that stuff tomorrow" David says making me look up at him.
"M-my- Richard will be at the house and I'll get yelled at if I go there and I don't have a truck so it'll take a few trips" I say frowning.
"I have a truck I can go and get the desk and David can get the dresser" Liam quickly replies. Me and David look at him and then at each other and then back at him.
"I mean if you want to but I'm not forcing you too" I say.
"I would love to help you can stay here and unpack the rest tomorrow while I follow David to your old house to get your stuff" Liam replies. We've only know him for a few hours and he really wants to help but I don't feel comfortable with him going to the house where I use to live at. I guess he read my mind because he quickly said sorry.
"I mean if you want to" I say feeling bad. I don't live there now so why not?
"Okay I'll see you guys in the morning" Liam says walking out the door.
"I need to get home I'll see you tomorrow" David says as well.
"Wait then how is Liam supposed to find Richards house?" I ask.
"I gave him my phone number and I'll text him the address in the morning" he says. He waves goodbye and leaves me alone in my new apartment.
Can I have his number so I can text him since I never got it?
Sure! I'll ask him - David
I smile at the text.
I go into the living room and look for my bag that is filled with my pjs, I grab a tank top and so sweatpants and go into my rooms and change. I realize I have a closet that I can hang my shirts up in. But I don't have hangers since I didn't have a closet I only had the dresser that's still in my room. After a hour or so of doing nothing but putting my toiletries in the bathroom and putting my bags in a corner in the spare room. I go to my room and set my phone on the charger and fell asleep.
I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock. I turned it off quickly and stayed in bed, I was free I don't have to wake up when my alarm told me or I would be hit. Heck I could sleep all day if I wanted to but I had stuff to do.
After a few minutes I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush my messy hair and brush my teeth. I finished up and grabbed some clothes to wear when I heard my phone go off.

I know it could be Liam but you never know.

Oh hey Liam
So I was correct. I put his name in my contacts and went to the bathroom again to grab a shower. After I was done showering I realized I didn't have any towels so I was going to have to air dry. Just great. After I got dried off I put on my favorite white floral jumpsuit with the Hawaiian green leaves print on it. I walked out of the bathroom and went to my bedroom to get my keys, my phone, and my wallet. They boys were bring me my dresser and desk so I was going to go to the store and buy some kitchen stuff and towels. I needed more toilet paper and I need to buy a shoe rack to place my shoes in of course. I went to the front door and walked out closing it and locking it and heading down to my car. I got to my car and got inside, I got on my phone and made a group chat with the boys saying I was going to the store so I probably wouldn't be back for a while. They both said okay and I drove off to the closest Walmart. I looked around for thirty minutes. I had towels, paper towels, toilet paper, kitchen stuff like pots and pans and also hanger. I had what I needed but I wanted to look around a little longer because the boys said they would be late coming with my stuff. Ten minutes later I was walking out of the store towards my car when I got a text from someone.
Why did you block my number?
It's was a unknown number so I ignored it and placed my items in the back of my car. I drove off when my phone went off again this time it was from Brian, I ignored it because I was driving and didn't want to get in a reck and I wasn't in the mood to talk to him. Once I got to my apartment complex two trucks pulled into the parking lot, parked, and out came the boys.
"Nice to finally see you guys again" I say smiling at them.
" It's only been for a whole night and half a day" David says shaking his head and smiling.
"Still" I say. I grabbed the towels and the paper towels and headed to my apartment and then went back for the toilet paper and also grabbed the pots and pans. A hour later my bed frame was up and my mattress was in the frame, I had my dresser and all my clothes were in it besides my shirts they were hung up in my closet. The kitchen stuff was put up in cabinets and my towels were in both bathrooms also with the toilet paper. I had unpacked everything I owned, but my house still looked empty since I didn't have my own table or couch or anything like that really. But I was finally free and able to go to sleep not having to worry about being hit anymore. I looked at both the boys smiling.
"Thank you guys so much" I say.
"no problem" they both say at the same time. They looked at each other and laughed. I laughed with them. After a good five seconds of laughing we stopped and David looked at his phone.
"I better be going I have stuff today tomorrow I'll see you soon Rose" he says waving goodbye and leaving.
"Your dad was pissed when we got to your old house" Liam said breaking the silence. Oh I bet he was. I shook my head smiling.
"Good" I say and that's all I say.
"Wanna go grab something to eat since I haven't eaten anything at all today" he says and I look up at him with a big smile on my face.
"Of course, I'm starving" I say still smiling.
"Then let's go and I'll drive you" he says grabbing his keys and walking out.

A/N
I'm currently working on part 4 but it's going to take a while because I'll be busy tomorrow and half the day I won't be able to work on part 4 :p
This is keeping me happy and keeping me from being bored so yeah it might be trash but it's keeping me busy :)
