Chapter 1

The hits were brutal, I dusted myself off and stood up as swiftly as I could. There was no doubt that there were gonna be bruises there by tomorrow.
I looked up at the man who was supposed to be my father, but honestly over the past few years he's been nothing but horrible to me.
He makes me feel like shit every damn day, I hate my life and because of him I don't even know what happiness is anymore.
He's been this way ever since my mom died. I wonder if he's ever stopped to think that her death hurt me too, it wasn't just him.
He takes out all his anger and pain on me, every little mistake I make he just decides; oh well this seems like a good time to abuse Kellin.
I can barely look him in the eye anymore, I'm so ashamed of who he has become, I don't even call him "dad" anymore.
He's taken anything good that has ever happened to me away from me and every day it's a struggle to even get out of bed, I know what will happen, every day it's the same routine.
Get up, get dressed, go to my job, come back home and then get punched several times by an ignorant cunt.
That is, if I'm lucky, sometimes he will just shoot death glares in my direction and yell at me till he looses his voice.
I opened my eyes for a brief second and looked him in the eyes, his gaze was the most terrifying thing I have ever seen in my life.
It was purely rage, I was terrified, every punch and hit he threw at me was more painful then the one before. I was his little punching bag.
I had to get the hell out of here, I needed to run away, I need to escape. How? No clue.
I tried dodging some of his punches, I dodged quite a few so I had some energy to use.
All I could think of is I'm going to die, right here, right now. I used every ounce of energy I had left to kick him in a place where the sun don't shine.
He fell over to the ground in pain, this gave me some time.
