Chapter Four

"Can you listen?"

"Let me go."

"Stop the sudden tough girl act. You're so annoying."

"I don't want to talk about it okay?"

He closes his eyes tightly shut as he takes a deep breath.

"You have such an anger problem, Jungkook."

"Well when you don't answer, I will get kind of annoyed..!"

"I have somewhere to get to! Just leave me alone!

I yank my arm out of his grasp and make my way out of the school.

"I'm Leera, here for my first day."

My new boss claps his hands together before giving me a big smile.

"Wonderful, just wonderful. I'm happy to see you came on time. I'm too busy right now, so I'll hand you over to one of your coworkers, Namjoon."

That name sounds familiar...

He guides me toward a man who's in the middle of wiping a table down.

"Namjoon?"

Once he looks up at us, I realize he's the one that Hoseok said used to be his friend...

"This is Leera. Today's her first day, so could you show her the ropes?"

"Oh sure!"

He pats me on the shoulder before leaving me with Namjoon...

"Hello, I'm Namjoon."

He flings his washcloth over his shoulder before holding out his hand for me to shake.

"Hi, my name's Leera.."

I take his hand and he shakes it a few times before letting go.

"Nice to meet you, Leera. Ready to get to work?"

I just nod because I'm already intimidated by how much taller he is than me...

"Great! Let me get you an apron real quick so you don't ruin your clothes."

I give him a small smile before he takes off towards the kitchen...

"Hello? Helloooo? Can you take our order yet?"

I glance over toward the annoyed couple and notice they're actually talking to me...

Am I supposed to take people's orders?

I just slowly walk over towards the couple, making them even more annoyed..

"Finally! Were you planning to make us wait longer or what?"
