Sometimes you cannot control your own body. You want to do this but instead you end up doing the opposite. And sometimes we feel like we don't know our own self. We feel like we are not capable of controlling our emotions, desires and how to respond.
We all have our vulnerable sides. We often hear that little voice that indulges us to sin. Yes it is given that we are just mere humans. We fall short. We stumble along the way. We do things we never imagined we are capable to do.
Sometimes we feel hopeless where in we end up thinking that it would be better if I should just vanish and leave all of these behind because I'm tired of it all.
Dear friend, put into mind that it's okay to feel hopeless, it's okay to feel sad and it's okay to feel troubled. That's what human emotions are capable to do. And when all of these negative emotions build up in us and we feel like surrendering, lift up your eyes unto heaven my dear friend know that there is a Savior, His name is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is our source of life and hope.
As a Christian, I am just like you my friend I sin, commit mistakes and even feel those overflowing negative emotions. I sometimes feel unworthy of God's forgiveness because even though how hard I may try I always end up disappointing God and disappointing my self more. That's when I realize that God is continually working in my life. He continues to mold me to the person He wanted me to become. He makes me realize that without Him I am nothing and in Him I can find my worth and my true joy.
Lord Jesus, please forgive me of all my sins. I am sorry for my shortcomings. I am sorry if I neglect Your Words so many times. I am sorry of my carelessness and indifference. Search my heart O Lord and create in me a clean heart. Help me to live my life according to your purpose. Lord, I am nothing without You. And even though I may fail as I walk with You O Lord please don't take your hold away from me. Deliver me from my enemies. Deliver me from the works of the devil. Protect me O Lord and use me life for Your glory alone. This is my prayer through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. Amen.
