Kathryn stared at her ceiling with the moonlight radiating through her window. She was currently laying on her bed thinking about all that had happened during the past week. First things first, she wanted Daniel gone. His professionalism was on another level. He made her feel like she had to be on her toes all the time around him. He was too intense for her and most of all she hated being watched 24/7.
It felt like his eyes were burning though her skin whenever he was present. Every time he was around, the confident spunky 21 year old in Kathryn would turn back into her shy 16 year old school girl self. Yes, he was gorgeous to look at and made her feel goosebumps with the little words he's said to her, but that wasn't the point.
She wanted to breathe. She couldn't do that when there were eyes watching her every move. She may be the President's daughter but she wanted to be a normal woman just for once. Once she could get Agent Ford fired, she would try convince and prove to her stupid father that she didn't need any bodyguard. She could handle herself. She was 21 and legal everywhere in the world for God's sake. She should be travelling, living on her own, going out, enjoying life and partying.
That was it.
Before she entered her room around 20 minutes ago, Kathryn remembered that Daniel said something about a meeting with her father and to call him if she needed anything. He wouldn't be standing outside her door and knowing her dad, he would still be on the other side of the mansion talking to Daniel about his work as a PSG and the many ways to protect her.
How could he be able to stop her from sneaking out like she always did with her past bodyguards when he was on the other side of the mansion.
Standing up and running to her closet, Kathryn smiled as she grabbed a white lace crop top that cut off at her shoulders and a white skirt to match. After quickly changing into it, she grabbed her cellphone and made a phone call to one of her friends while doing her make-up. Kathryn was out the window and out of the house premises in under 30 minutes just like all the other times before.
Losing the First Daughter already after a week on the job? Bye bye Agent Ford.

The music was so loud Kathryn couldn't even hear her thoughts and she loved it. Kathryn bounced around dancing without a care in the world. Her friends were long gone lost somewhere in the crowd and this was what she needed. She needed to let go of all her worries without anyone, especially Daniel or any bodyguard watching after her. Heading to the bar for the fifth time tonight, Kathryn ordered another shot of her favourite drink, tequila.
She was tipsy and almost borderline drunk but she didn't care.
"Hi Beautiful. Can I get you another drink?" an older man creepily said, dressed in a dress shirt with too many buttons undone, as he stood in front of Kathryn leaning against the bar. Kathryn shook her head in refusal and took a step back. She may be intoxicated, but not that drunk to be stupid.
"No, thank you. I can handle on my own." she answered, looking uninterested as she quickly looked out towards the bar. Where are your friends when you need them?
"Are you sure? 'Cause a pretty girl like you looks like you need a strong man like me," the older man obnoxiously said, stepping forward. Alarm bells rang off in Kathryn's head telling her to leave and get away from the man. Just as she was going to make another excuse and a quick getaway, Kathryn felt an arm wrap around waist and a hand rest on the exposed skin of her stomach.
"Baby, there you are. I've been looking for you. Did you want another drink?" a husky voice said into her ear, quiet enough to be intimate yet loud enough for the man to get the message.
