"Oh what shall I do??" Darkstar helplessly threw his arms in the air, "The Darkstones are fading!!" He paced around the fountain, clenching his jaws. Darkstar, he was the leader of the Darksiders, wisest man in the council, is now frustrated as he couldn't think of anything good to solve the problem. The problem, well, it's complicated.

"The best way is convincing the Lightsiders to dim the lights." Suggested an Elder called, Mightystar.

"But you know how the Sides treat each other!" Darkstar retorted, furrowing his brow.

"Well, if the Lightsiders treat us like that, why can't we?" Exclaimed Mightystar.

"We are DIFFERENT than them."

"We can take their stones, they have way too much of those." Continued Mightystar.

"No, no, no!! All of these unrealistic solutions would go against the Sidecodes!" Darkstar pounded his fist onto his palms, "We don't want to risk anything. Our powers are getting weaker, we need a sacrifice to gain our powers back." Mightystar slowly nodded his head in an agreement.

"We can train our warriors to have powers, maybe if one of them has enough potential." Darkstar clapped in amusement. "Yes. But if this plan doesn't work, we'll take Lightsiders stones. Before Spring ends." Darkstar ran his hand along the marble platform of the fountain. "We'll send a letter to the Lightsiders. And I want you to write it, Mightystar." Darkstar bored into Mightystar's eyes saying, "there will be a risk, and we will have to be prepared for it." Shaking hands, the two Darksiders walked towards the Mansion, preparing to face chaos.

"Never!! It is against the Side Codes!!" Brightstar, one of the councilors cried out after reading the letter. The other councilors seemed angered too.

"Of course! Breaking the Sidecodes would bring harsh punishment among all of us!" Shinestar, senior head of Lightsiders, snorted.

"Bunch of bastards!" "Retards!" "Cowards." "Imbeciles!" The council was all shouting insults at the Darksiders, furious that they would take chances to save their own butt.

"ENOUGH!!" Lightstar, the head of Lightsiders screamed, he slammed his fist onto the table, shaking it slightly. "You know what you guys? I don't even know why you idiots are in my meeting room. This is absurd, you guys are acting like eight year olds. I'm so disappointed in you guys. Can't you handle any problem without shouting and screaming like stupid kids? Get your shit together!" He snapped. The council immediately shut up, they've never seen him so angry before, his face was red as a tomato, and his fist was turning white, while his eyes was wide, looking like some insane man. He took a deep breathe and controlled his emotions. Lightstar run his hand over his face in exhaustion. 'Okay, calm down' He told himself.

"Brightstar, you'll get the Warriors to train the Early Darksiders." Lightstar ordered, Brightstar nodded his head obediently and jotted down on his paper, what he'll needed to do to prepare.

"Shinestar, you'll go tell the medics to collect pebbles to make more Healingstones." Lightstar passed out a map to Shinestar, showing him where to find the best pebbles. "Now the rest of you manage the Lightsiders, plan for the raid." The rest of the councillors looked at each other grimly. This was it, this was the battle the Siders were dreading for. It was not a choice, it must be fought. They could not allow themselves to lose after billions of years of preparing. From small tribes, to big Sides, this wasn't going to be wasted.

"We must be ready for anything by the end of Spring since we all know that Summer is when we'll be the most powerful!!" Lightstar proclaimed. He looked at his fellow councillors each in the eye.

"Dismissed!!" Everyone left, expect Lightstar. He sighed, "If only we know what will happen." Then a sparkle of mischief danced in his eyes, "yes, and my son would be the greatest warrior the Sides will have ever known." He smiled wickedly towards the letter, "You'll never win Darksiders, with or without my son. My son is going to destroy you all. The light shall rule, and no Dark shall ever live again." Lightstar cackled wickedly. "Papa, what do you mean?" Lightstar's son asks. "Oh, nothing bad I promise you. Because one day, you will be the greatest Lightsider of all! Your job is to destroy every single one of the Darksiders." His son looked up to his crafty father with wide, unblinking eyes, "Destroy Darksiders." He repeated, "Destroy all..."
