It was midnight. I thought about what Mangle told me a little bit ago. I decided that we would kidnap the guard and try to talk to him.

Night Guard’s POV

I sat in the office. I hadn’t had any trouble from the animatronics last night.

I still remembered that thing that jumped at me. It didn’t kill me, so it probably had its reasons.

I picked up the cameras and looked at the stage. One of them was gone! I think it was the bear. Then I switched to the prize corner. The music box was almost out. I quickly rewound it.

“That was close.” I said under my breath.

“Hello.”

“What was that?” I asked to no one.

Suddenly, there was a sound coming from the vents. I switched to the left vent camera. The Balloon kid was in there.

“Ha ha ha.” A deep voice said.

“What was that?” I asked.

I started to get scared. I rewound the music box. I was worried that I was gonna die.

I heard footsteps in the front hall. I pointed my flashlight at it. Standing there was the blue bunny and the chicken. Except, the chicken’s beak was missing! I put on my Freddy helmet. I waited. Then I took it off. I shined the light. They were gone.

“Thank goodness.”

I picked up the camera and rewound the music box. I put down the camera. I was greeted with the beakless chicken in my face.

“Don’t hurt me!” I yelled.

She screamed in my face and knocked me out.

Toy Chica’s POV

Yes! I got the night guard! Master would be so proud of me. I turned around and standing there was old Freddy.

“Uh, Toy Chica, where’s your beak?” He asked telepathically.

Oh no! It must have fallen off back onstage.

“I don’t know! Help me find it.” I said.

“Too late, you need to take the guard to Master in the storage room.” Freddy said.

I was upset. Master would think I looked stupid. But I knew my orders and I couldn’t let my beak get in the way of that.

I carried the guard into the storage room. Master was sitting down on the floor. Everyone else was in there. He looked at me for a second. I was embarrassed. I quickly set the guard down and began to walk out.

“Wait!” Master said telepathically.

I stopped, but didn’t turn around.

“Yes, Master.” I replied.

“Why are you walking away? Aren’t you gonna stay?” He asked.

“Uh, yes, but I need to go to the stage first.” I answered.

He hesitated for a second.

“Ok, just hurry up.” He said.

I quickly ran out towards the stage. I passed old Freddy on the way. He walked into the storage room. I arrived at the stage and saw my beak on the floor. I put I back on and ran to the storage room.

Puppet’s POV

I saw Toy Chica quickly run back in the storage room. I had saved her a spot next to me. She sat down. We sat in a circle around the guard.

“When’s he gonna wake up?” BB asked telepathically.

“Soon, honey.” Mangle answered.

Mangle seemed to be like a mother figure to BB. It was very weird. But who am I to judge, I’m a freaking clown puppet!

Foxy kept on poking the guard with his hook.

“Great, Toy Chica, you killed him.” He scolded.

“No I didn’t! I knocked him out!” Toy Chica defended.

I just sighed.

I walked up to the guard. He had a name tag.

Jeremy Fitzgerald.

Toy Bonnie walked up next to me and bent down. She looked at me.

“Is he really dead?” She asked telepathically.

I felt his pulse. There was a beat.

“He’s alive. Foxy, apologize.” I said.

Foxy grunted.

“Sorry, Toy Chica.”

Suddenly, Jeremy moaned.

“He’s waking up!” Toy Freddy said.

Jeremy’s POV

I slowly opened my eyes. I sat up and rubbed my head. My vision cleared. When it did, I saw that I was surrounded by the animatronics.

“What do you want with me?” I asked.

They looked at me. Then they looked at each other. They did this for a while. It was complete silence. Were they communicating or something? That was the only answer.

Finally, the puppet crawled up to me. He looked into my eyes. Then he placed both his hands on my face. He did that for a few minutes. Then I heard a voice in my head.

“Can you hear me?”

“Uh, yes.” I said aloud.

“Good. We just want answers.”

I finally realized that it was the puppet’s voice I was hearing.

“What kind of answers?” I asked.

He looked at the others for a second. Then he turned back.

He must’ve been able to tune me out when he wanted.

“Did you kill us?” He asked.

What kind of question was that? He was right there! He wasn’t dead.

“You’re sitting right in front of me. You’re not dead.” I said.

He huffed.

“Well, some of us are souls trapped in these bodies.” The withered chicken said.

Ok, that made sense.

“Ok then, no. I did not kill you. That was someone else.” I said.

The puppet looked down at the floor. He seemed to be upset or something. He finally looked up at me.

“Oh, well sorry for trying to kill you. You can go if you want.” The puppet said.

I looked at them.

“Thanks.” I said.

I stood up and left.

Puppet’s POV

That answered my question. Someone had gotten into our heads and tried to make us kill the guard. But now we knew that we were wrong.

Someone wanted that guard dead.
