The town is small and quaint. It's got a few cute antique stores, thrift shops ,and small clothing stores. One grocery store and other assortments of farmers/flea markets.First I go to some clothing stores and thrift shops because I really need to improve my wardrobe. I get two pairs of jeans, a pair of white skinny pants, some cute yellow pants, some turquoise blue pants ,and black pants. I get a few pairs of shorts as well. Next I get a black pencil skirt, and a two sundresses that the old ladies at the thrift store insists I buy. I get a white button up shirt, a black blouse with a ruffled collar, a purple floral shirt that has half sleeves. I also buy some new, better looking and better fitting T-shirts. For shoes, I purchase a pair of plain black flip flops, a pair of black chuck Taylor's, a pair of brown flats ,and a pair of tennis shoes.
Next I go to the grocery store and get some shampoo and conditioner, regular soap, bubble bath soap, and a number of other essential toiletries. I get some easy to cook food, such as ramen noodles and pasta of any kind really, the essentials to make PB&J, some fruits and veggies, ham and cheese, and some breakfast foods.
After I get what I wanted at the grocery store I decided to see what other stores they might have. As it turns out they have a few more stores scattered about around the perimeter of town. They have a flower shop, a pet store, a library (which I was extremely excited about), and a post office.
I advance into the flower shop and buy a few orchids and daisies to scatter around the house, because I love flowers. I also buy some lavender and rosemary, those are my favorite smells!!
After the flower shop I drive home because I am exhausted. That, and I also can not fit anymore stuff in my car. I go home I unloaded my car quickly put my food up. Then I walk to my room to put my clothes in my closet which is ten times bigger that my last one, which I am grateful for. Once I organize my closet I go and place my flowers around on the back patio.
After all my chores were done I decide I need to read, so I grab and interesting book off the shelf and start reading. Then about five minutes I fell asleep with said book on my face.

When I awaken from my not so beautiful slumber it is around four o'clock in the afternoon.
I yawn and stretch, I hear my bones creak an pop in protest. I go walk over and open the glass sliding door, I hear birds chirping and watch the trees sway gently in the soft caress of the wind, it's a beautiful day. I go outside and sit on one of the comfortable deck chairs. I sit in silence for a while, just listening to the birds chirp some more.
I watch the sun slowly slide over the sky until the sun sets and it's that time of the day when the sky turns white and in contrast to the sky the trees are black. To me, this has always been my favorite part of the day. The birds are still out but about to rest in their nest for the night, and the temperature has not dropped significantly yet, but it is slightly cooler. I always thought that the trees look similar to a Chinese painting.
I'm in a daze just being a part of it all when my stomach growls. I slowly get up out of the chair and head inside. I lope over to the kitchen, it say six on the little kitchen clock. I throw together a PB&J and grab a few carrots. I sit down on the couch and turn on the tv. I flip through the channels until I see something on animal planet that looks cool.
It's just a little documentary on penguins in the Antarctic. I watch util it's around eight. The documentary has put me to the brink of slumber. I have to drag myself off the couch and trudge to my room, once at my bed I don't even take off the t-shirt and jeans I'm wearing, I just crawl into bed and immediately fall asleep.

In my dream I am in the woods running, I don't know where I'm running to but I do know who I'm running from. Luke. As I weave through trees I can hear him swearing from close behind, screaming threats about how I'm going to regret my running. I look behind me to see how far behind me he is, I don't see him.
I slowly stop running. I'm scared out of my wits now. He's not there and it is deathly quiet. Not even birds are chirping, there's no wind either. Turn back the way I was running, and there is Luke standing right I front of me.
Suddenly we are back at my old house. There is Luke standing over my mother who is crying on the floor. I try to run to her. I can't move, no matter haw much I will my muscles to move they are unresponsive. I watch as my mom all of a sudden pulls out a hidden kitchen knife. She looks me dead in the eyes and softly whispers " I'm sorry Katie, I love you." She starts sobbing as she drags the flashing blade across her pale wrist. Crimson liquid flows like a waterfall from her wrist. I scream, but no sound marinates from my voice, I can only watch as my mother dies in front of me.
My mother disappears from the floor without a trace. Luke suddenly turns to me as if he just realized I was in the room with him. I see my father stalk toward me. He has a sneer on his lips. I try desperately to move, but to no avail. I can only close my eyes as I feel is fist connect with my gut. Only now am I able to crumple to floor.
