ONLY A MACHINE

Tears Smolder my skin

Words fracture my heart

Hugs smother me

The gloom is where I belong

As a reject left to stray in the world of desolation

I am not a loser or a failure

I am much more corrupt...

I am unseen

I am an invisible girl

No dreams to help me move onward

No attachment to keep me content

No commitment in this hollow body

No desire to stay alive

I only breathe till this day ceases

Tomorrow will never happen

Because I am merely a machine

I like to think, I have feelings

Yet I fail to grasp, whatever I had neglected that was still human

Tomorrow will nevermore show for a machine

I will be compensated for someone else

I simply wish I left a trace on this universe

I would be glad to depart knowing I was worth it...

Worth all the grief and anguish

I was a defective girl... seeking to discover how to walk again

Nevertheless, I had too many cracks that would never improve

Over time I just collapsed

My limited body couldn't carry me any longer

The package I carried on these flimsy shoulders of mine...

The lives I ruined

Ultimately, the crime continued creeping back to me

It weakened me but I looked the other way

Away from those anxious eyes of the innocent ones...

Like a machine

I didn't delay to kill

Didn't stop to emit even a sole tear

I'm a machine who does what's required of me

Vulnerable, exposed, and sensitive are words to define me

An insolent fool, who's pride was too heavy to bear by herself

So I let go

Of it all

I let someone apprehend everything out of my hand and...

I behaved like a scarce puppy dog

So, there existed no tomorrow as I was a machine that ceased running

There was a glitch

I was displaced

I wasn't valuable anymore

I was dismissed

They killed me off

Because, a mortal side manifested in me

an emotion as I hesitated to execute a mortal

A person who I felt compassion for the first time

I bellowed

A machine I was practiced

A machine I was supposably

A machine that destroyed

A machine that didn't cry

A machine that died a human

Machines don't hesitate to kill

Machines don't weep

A machine I transpired
