I opened up my Skype.

JumboGumbo: HEY! Layla! I thought you were never going to get on!

ToTheNether: Yah, Layla! Do you know how long we've been waiting? We have to tell you everything!

I almost switched off my computer. Almost. Nerina and Avani can be so annoying. Nerina's JumboGumbo and Avani's ToTheNether. They're my best friends. My only friends, but still.

(N = Nerina, A = Avani, L = Layla, our main character :))

N: Ask us! Ask ask ask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

L: chill on da exclamation markz, dood. Hokay what?

A: WE JUS BOUGHT MINECRAFT

N: WE HAS MINECRAFT

A: *squeals*

N: *high five*

L: ...

A: *highfive*

I closed the Skype window and scrolled through my contacts. Avani, Nerina are the only ones. My parents dont have Skype. Pending requests have Bodil, Sky, Deadlox and like a shit ton more Minecrafters. I wonder if Pewds has Skype.

My whole class is buzzing about Minecraft right now. Apparently some popular kid in i dunno what grade bought it and now everyone wants it.

And some snobby posh girl must've seen me on Youtube watching a gazillion different Minecraft Youtubers coz the next day she and her girlfriends were gossiping about who likes who and shit.

I swear I'm the only one in the class who doesnt follow her trends. Even Avani and Nerina follow her. Shes called Mikenzy. Apparently shes "foreign." To me she just looks like a local. I like to think she mispelled it when she was a baby and shes stuck with it. Ha.

No one in my class was into Minecraft before Mikenzy and that other kid stuck her big fat nose into my business. Sure, the other kids have the money but do they have the heart to play it EVERY SINGLE DAY LIKE ME (when i buy it)?

I havent bought it. I dont have the money. My parents allow it, but i only have five dollars per week as allowance and I spend them all on other gadgets and stuff.

I plugged in my headphones and went on Youtube. YouTube Rewind 2014 was recommended for me. I already watched that for like five times. Amazing editing. I want to become an edit master like what they did on the video.

It doesnt matter if i dont make sense. I never really do make sense. If someone understands me, then, congratulations!

Ding! My Skype. I checked it. It wasnt Avani or Nerina, thank God. But who the hell was this?

It said "hey".

I dismissed it as spam. Sure enough, another message popped on my screen.

I took a closer look at it. "I know ur like the expert in Minecraft can i hv a few tips from u?"

Who the hell r u, I typed back.

Oh ok then, I replied. To be honest i was amazed someone other than Avani and Nerina knew me. I answered all his questions. From what I'd heard Daniel was nice so i didnt have to worry about him pretending he's been playing MC his whole life.

After half an hour i switched off my computer. There was school tomorrow and i needed to do my homework. If only there was a way to buy MC.
