I could here a few gun fires before everything fell silent. The world was dark for moments as my feet moved on their own. Soon I could feel soft green grass under my toes, looking down flowers and grass tickled my feet. Gripping onto the grass with my toes I took in a deep breath with a small laugh. I've never felt more free then I ever had before, sure living with my brothers was fun and I got time to myself but this... Was purely amazing. Within seconds I broke out into a run with a bright smile on my face one I hadn't shown in many many years. Stopping in my tracks as cold but refreshing water touched my toes, a mad childish giggle let my lips. Stepping into the clear water I couldn't help myself and I kicked around the water, I felt like a child again it's been far to long when I could just stop and be silly only for a moment. Then I stopped again as I looked down at my chest, putting a hand to it blood oozed out as I watched my blood drip down heavily into the water. Just before my knees could buckle under me the wind picked up and a scent, a familiar scent filled my nose. The scent was of sweet honey and roses my head snapped around and there was a tallish woman maybe around five eleven in a long blue silk dress. Her smile warmed my heart and tears filled my eyes, my lips opened to say one word, "Mom."
I run as fast as I could to her, I didn't care if there was a trap it was my mother someone I longed to see. Embracing her with my strong arms she returned the hug without hesitation. "I've missed you." I mutter softly holding her close, the sound of her heart beat was so familiar it took me back to when I was a child when I'd sit on her lap while she read to me. Pulling away she scanned my body. "You've grown so much Nine." Her soft warm hands placed on my cold cheeks, she let out a happy breath in aware of the wound on my chest thought I felt no blood just throbbing pain. "It's been a very long time since I've last seen you, how are your brothers?" She asked walking away gesturing for me to follow, my long legs easily catch up to her. "Ryuu followed your line of work and is the youngest doctor ever, Ink became a vet and Vanaven went to live in the mountains with One." I said looking at my mother, she was as beautiful as he remembered. Her long chocolate brown hair with her coffee brown eyes it looked like she'd never aged. "I see... And you? What have you done with your life?" She asked curiously. I fell silent to think he hadn't done much, just fighting and fighting. There was nothing I did that was special or important like the other three but course chaos. "I've done terrible things... I've destroyed lives, homes..." Stopping in my tracks once again I was on the edge of tears, I didn't want to destroy anything but over time the voice I heard pounded in my head far to loudly driving me over the edge. "Did you want to do it?" She asked taking my hands in hers. Shaking my head weakly I mutter 'no' over and over. Smiling she kissed my forehead. Flashes of the guns and blood echoed through both our minds her eyes widened. "Oh Nine..." She sobbed softly putting her hands on my cheeks, the blood from before poured out of my chest and my skin turned pale.
"There's to much blood! I can't stop it!" It was Ryuu, he sounded scared. 'Ryuu?' I looked around for the dark crimson haired teen but with no luck I didn't see or find him. "You don't even know why your here do you?" My mother asked sadly her tear flowed softly off her cheeks. "DO SOMETHING! YOUR NOT GONNA LET HIM DIE ARE YOU!?" Terra shrieked at Ryuu, I looked around again to find Terra again no luck. "I'm trying!" Ryuu snapped trying to hold back tears. "Nine... Have you forgotten?" My mother asked moving my head to look at her. The memory's came flooding back to me in waves. "That's right... You..." I choked on the words. "Died." I whispered weakly, so if I was seeing my mother then I to was dead. I could hear crys of my brothers and friends as I felt my own heart stop. Everything went black again.
'Death... So this is what it's like? No pain... No suffering.' I feel weak like I was nothing in this dark clouded world. A shining gold light flutter close it looked like gold dust as it got close. Stoping in from of me I smiled as it held out a hand. 'Hello again Nine.' It said I nodded like we were old friends. "I believe it's time to start anew?" It asked as I took it's hand, slowly we began to walk through my memory's from when I was first given life from the gold dust and from the moment when I died. There was nothing after that nothing more then blackness. Soon I felt a hand take mine and I looked at the new comer. "Ink." The white haired male around twenty seven looked at me with a smile. Shortly after Ryuu took Ink's hand then Vanaven stood beside the dust. "Nine... Your first." Vanaven and the dust said with matching voices. Nodding I willingly walked up to the crack in the dark wall and waved to my brothers. "I'll see ya guys in a few years be good till then." And with that I was gone.
