It was a rainy and windy day. The breeze blew papers, plastic bags and other items into places where they didn't belong. Rebecca Roberts had been waiting for this day. Destiny Builders High School was expecting its students to resume today. Thinking about how wonderful today was going to be, Rebecca grabbed her school bag off one of the sofas in the living room and ran towards her dad's car.

Rebecca was a very pretty girl. She had long brown hair, pretty pink lips and light brown eyes which you could easily get lost in. She also had a heart shaped face and flawless fair skin.

It was hard to believe that she hadn't had one boyfriend with a Good looks and kind heart.

"Good luck at school today" Her mother called from the door.

"Bye mum, thanks" Rebecca told her before sliding into the car. Her dad started the car and reversed out of the compound.

Today was going to be her first day as a senior secondary school student. She was smiling excitedly as she thought about all the new teachers, subjects and students. As she glanced out of the car window, She saw some students walking to school barely holding on to their umbrellas. Watching them triggered memories of her last session at school. Her smile suddenly disappeared when she remembered what had happened last session.

Rebecca had been a brilliant student. She still was. She had outstanding grades, a good group of friends and a lot of talent. She was very close to her friends until one of them framed her. This young student was Gabriella Martins.

Gabriella had been Rebecca's best friend. She was dark skinned with short natural black hair which she was very proud of. Her black mischievous eyes and slim stature gave people the impression that she was a sharp mouth and a trouble maker. But to Rebecca, she was a very good friend.

Whenever Rebecca need to find comfort or solace in someone, Gabriella was there for her. They had been friends since their early junior school days. But When they had passed their exams and proceeded to junior secondary class three, something went wrong. Gabriella became very secretive and mysterious. Rebecca couldn't understand what was going on.

A few weeks after the resumption day, Sarah, Betty and Susan, three students from Rebecca's class couldn't find their purses. They reported this case to a teacher and an investigation was carried out. Bags, lunch boxes and lockers were checked and Rebecca was surprised when a teacher pulled out three little purses from her backpack.

Immediately, Rebecca was summoned to the principal's office. Everyone thought she was a thief. The principal and some of other teachers questioned her about the purses.

"What was your motive?" A teacher asked "Did you steal them to get some sort of revenge"

"No and I didn't steal them" Rebecca had said trying to defend herself. Sarah, Betty and Susan had actually been her friends. She would never have stolen from them. Just then, Gabriella had rushed in.

"I have something I need to say" She had said

"Go on" The principal had urged.

"I was the one who stole the purses. I had only framed Rebecca with the intention of playing a prank on her" She had confessed.

She claimed to have inadvertently left them in Rebecca's bag. She apologized to Rebecca, Sarah, Susan and the principal. They all forgave her except for Rebecca who still thought there was something fishy about what she had done.

The sound of her dad's car horn jolted her back to reality. Her younger sister, Stella was waiting for her to get down.

Stella, unlike Rebecca had honey brown skin just like their father and eyes that were a darker shade of brown. Her hair was black and shorter than her sister's and She had an inverted triangle figure.

She was a really funny person who loved to mess around. She was going to be in junior secondary class two this year and she couldn't wait.

Rebecca sighed heavily. Her happy thoughts about school had vanished. Trying her best to keep her bad memories at bay, she walked into the school.
