Mesmerizing. That's what came to my mind when I first lay my eyes on her. You know that feeling when you look at someone and you couldn't take your eyes off them. There's just this something that made them so attractive and enticing to stare at. But of course, staring is rude, well as long as they didn't notice it, it should be fine I guess. My days used to be normal, well as normal as it can get. I woke up, go to school, kept my head down for the most of the time so people wouldn't bother me, not that it works, but yeah you get the idea. I'm not a social butterfly, I'm more of an unsocial bear. It's not like I'm one of those arrogant, stuck up rich kid, I just don't really know how to start a conversation and to keep it going. I usually let others do the talking, well unless I'm really close to them. Basically, I'm a social pariah.

But ever since that day, the first time I really lay my eyes on this girl, things kinda changed a bit. Well don't get me wrong, I'm still a social pariah but now, okay actually I don't really know what changes except for I'm now a bit excited to go to school, in hope of seeing her. My favourite part of her is probably her eyes, her eyes kinda remind me of a cat. It gave her that sexy look, but every time she smiles, that sexy look immediately turns into a very cute gummy smile. And of course, her squishy cheeks is just a bonus. I could spend hours talking about her, and she didn't even knew me.

"I mean you're always ugly, but you just made it look 10 times uglier than it already is by making that face. You good?" Ahh the joy of having a best friend. Insult first, then ask how are you doing. Not that I mind though, this is just how my best friend, Ji eun talk to me. We're quite close, I mean who am I kidding, she's the only person I talk to in this school and the only person who bothers to be friend with me which is really weird considering how different we are from every perspectives.

"I'm good, why did you asked?" I replied completely ignoring the fact that she caught me staring at my crush, the infamous Jennie Kim. I told her about almost everything that happens to me except about this, about my unrequited feelings to Jennie. I mean it's not like I'm going to court her or anything so i couldn't find any reason to tell her, plus she's out of my league so that's kinda embarrassing.

"Well other than that weird face that you just did just now, I would've thought that you have a crush on Jennie with the way you're staring at her, well that or you're just being weird by staring at the dustbin. I bet it's the later one." She said while laughing when she mentioned Jennie, but immediately stop when she look at me.

"Holy fuck, you're not having a crush on Jennie right? Right, Lisa? Oh my god, you are! Wait, it make sense now! I knew you were never the type to stay back at school to watch the guys practice football. You were watching Jennie all the time! Fuck how come I never notice this?! Why didn't you tell me?" She legitly didn't let me explain or anything, not that I need to, all the things she mentioned are the truth. Wow, she made it sounds like I'm a stalker.

"You never asked...and I don't really feel the need to tell you since it's not that serious, really." Who the fuck am I kidding, I've been staring at her almost everyday.

She look at me while frowning.

"How, and I couldn't stress this enough, would I just out of the blue ask you if you have a crush on anyone, well in this matter, Jennie freaking Kim?! No offense, but I've known you since forever, and you're not exactly a people person. But now you're saying you like someone, and don't bullshit me with the it's not serious, if it's not, you wouldn't stay back at school just to watch her practice cheerleading." Ji eun deadpanned. She looked worried.

"Alright, you got me. I do have a crush on her. It's not that serious, she just... intrigued me...yeah that's it. It's nothing serious, so you don't have to be worried, okay?" I said while smiling softly at her. I understand her worries. Other than being widely known as the captain of the cheerleader squad, Jennie is also known for her player way. She had a lot of boyfriends before this and none of them really last long. When she got bored of the current one, she will just find another one, as simple as that. But like I said, I don't have any plan on courting her at all, it would probably ends really bad, for me of course. And even if I were to court her, I would have to compete with all her pursuers and exes. Not really looking forward to any of that.

"I'm not going to stop you from having feelings toward her, because it's none of my business and you're entitled to your own feeling meaning you can like anyone. But, Lisa, please be careful, alright? I don't want you to get hurt, eventho you said it's nothing serious, but still, anything can happen." She said softly. While smiling at her, I said,

"I know, don't worry, it's just a stupid crush." I said trying to convince her.

Maybe I'm trying to convince myself too.
