1 : Flashbacks

Mika POV

[Flashback]

"Everyone welcome Yuichiro! He is a new kid just like you guys!" The directer said "WELCOME!" Everyone screamed in happiness but I was too memorized by his eyes. He had a mark under his eye. It was 'C' with a cross in it. (Check book cover) It faded from the bottom, green, then blue like my eyes, then red.They were a shade of green. I always loved that shade. "What are you staring at" He said in a mean tone "Ah! I didn't mean to stare" I said "Welcome to the orphanage! I'm Mikaela! But call me Mika for short! We've all had a tough time so lets get along!" I said putting out my hand but he slapped my hand "You think you know what I went through? My mother was so convinced I was a demon child that she commit suicide and my own father tried to murder me cause of it! You have no idea what I went through!" He nearly yelled "Wow, that sounded tough. Here we'll all support you because we're your new family!" "Tch, whatever!" He said as he walked to his room. I felt a bit sad but continued to play with Akane and the kids. Night soon came. I went back to my bed room to find him in it. I was bout to ask but then I remembered due to reduced space, we started to share rooms. I was the only one without a room mate. He turned around when the door opened. "What are you doing here?" He asked "Due to lack of space, we share rooms! Looks like we're roomates!" I said. The room was painted a blue just like my eyes, it had a white carpet. It had two beds with a thick white blanket that kept us warm. It had desks at the end of the beds so we had a place to draw or do activities! Its sad we don't go to school. There was a closet on either side storing our clothes. "What time is it" Yuichiro asked "Its 11pm! We better go to sleep!" I said getting out my clothes while he did same we changed and went to the bed and grabbed a book off the bookshelf in the middle of our room. 'Vampires' It was about vampires. I read it and found out alot. Yuichiro was asleep. For the next few months, me and Yuu got along. One night I grabbed a book called 'Soul Markings' to read with Yuu! But before I could the glass infront of my bed shattered. I could remember Yuu's scream like he was dying. The vampire grabbed me and took off. I never saw Yuu again. Soon, I was turned into a vampire by Krul Tepes herself.

Yuu's POV

The directer introduced me but I didn't bother to listen. A few mins later I looked at this blonde boy. His eyes. They were colored like the beautitful sky. "What are you staring at?" I said in a mean tone.  "Ah! I didn't mean to stare" He said "Welcome to the orphanage! I'm Mikaela! But call me Mika for short! We've all had a tough time so lets get along!" He said putting out his hand. I slapped his hand away. "You think you know what I went through? I nearly yelled, voice rising each word "Wow, that sounded tough. Here we'll all support you because we're your new family!" "Tch, whatever!" I said as I walked to my room. 'Wait I don't know where my room is' I thought.. I looked in there to see if the director was still there and first thing I saw was Mika's beautitful blonde hair. 'Cute. WAIT WHAT AM I THINKING?' I went to the director and she led me to my room. The walls were so beautitful. I didn't even pay attention. I was just staring at the window and wall until night fell apon us. Mika came in. "What are you doing here?" I asked "Due to lack of space, we share rooms! Looks like we're roomates!" He said cute and cheerfully. What time is it" I asked "Its 11pm! We better go to sleep!" He said while getting out his clothes while I did same we changed and went to the bed. I went to sleep while he read. A few months later, we were going to read a book called 'Soul Markings' but Mika got stolen by a flashing light. Blood spilled on the bed and he was gone. I screamed and everyone came in. I explained and we got over it. Well, they did. I locked my self up for months crying and barely eating. Akane convinced me to eat and one by one the kids got adopted. Me and Akane never did until a married couple adopted me and Akane at the age of 12, so we were siblings now. We moved out but even then I still wanted to cry over Mika. Why was life so unfair... 

"He was gone for 4 years. Everyone thinks hes dead but I have a spark of hope he's still our there. I'm 16 now. The couple we were adopt by were Guren and Shinya. I found out later it was a vamp. I'll kill all those bloodsuckers. I swear on it." I wrote in my diary whilist whisphering it out loud. "Bro! Its time for our first day at Seraph Academy! Lets go!" Akane yelled "Coming!" I said closing my diary and going to school.
