Roughly two centuries ago, in ancient Kyoto, Japan, a handful of extremely gifted people came into contact with each other. They sought a way to leave the rest of humanity behind, to indulge in their incredible abilities and to become better than the common citizen. They discovered their powers were determined by the Japanese Zodiac and the year they were born in. The Order believed they could heal the world of it’s afflictions directly. They called themselves the Ōdā NoZa Sainō Yutakana, and they sought to conquer the world, led by their leader, the terribly powerful Kuro Tin. With his guidance, their folowers grew in both numbers and strength. They dessimated their enemies, and then their allies, in a horrible storm of power and betrayal. They became the most powerful force in the east, greater than Khan, Alexander, and Ceaser alike, aided by their dark powers. And they ruled for centuries.
And then they were defeated, their empire crumbled. No one knows why, or how they failed. Some say that the horrible Kuro Tin’s heart was weakened by the love of a woman, one of the Order's own members, and that because of this love, evil ceased to live in his heart. From this union, a child was born to the Order, a child with the Warui Majo, or mark of the Black Witch, enscribed on her left eye. Witch Children are fabled to have extraordinary powers, more powerful than Kuro Tin himself- the power to reshape reality. In the wrong hands, this power could prove disaterous for the world and all who inhabit it. This is the story of that child….
