Elliott watched the flustered speedster walk out of his room. Slightly disappointed, he sat and stared at the ceiling, collecting himself before leaving his room. Thinking about what went wrong just minutes before, Elliott couldn't help but cringe to himself.

After about ten more minutes, he convinced himself he was calm enough to rejoin the party. He found everyone still enjoying themselves. He spotted Octavio having a shot with Anita and Ajay, laughing and having a good time. The party was lively, no legend sitting alone. Smiling to himself, he went to get his own drink.

A while later, the trickster found himself talking to Bloodhound and Nat. Feeling hostile eyes boring into the back of his head, Elliott looked around. He found Anita staring at him, then glancing at the speedster. Taking a closer look, he noticed Tav was very close to being as drunk as he assumed he was the night he woke up in his bed. The soldier was begging with her eyes for the trickster to take care of Octavio, as Ajay looked just as drunk, if not more. Excusing himself from the conversation, he went to help Anita.

Ajay and Octavio were laughing hysterically when he approached, Anita explaining they were talking about something that happened when they were kids. After talking through the plan with Anita on how they were getting each of them home, the speedster finally noticed that he was there. Excited, Octavio completely dropped his conversation with the medic and ran up to hang  onto the bigger man's arm.

Winking at Ajay, the scrawny speedster pressed his chest onto his arm. Elliott looked to Anita, who was trying not to laugh, and to Octavio, who was looking up at him lustfully.

"Come here often?" The speedster asked with slurred speech.

"It is my home, so I suppose?" Elliott answered, scratching the back of his head with his other hand, chuckling awkwardly.

Anita chuckled slightly before Ajay started sputtering some of her quips as she rested her head on the soldiers shoulder. Blushing, she quickly excused herself from the party, taking the medic with her. Before he could object, Anita was already halfway outside the door with a clearly-intoxicated war medic on her arm.

Elliott, standing there awkwardly with the smaller man on his arm, rambling on about anything that came to mind, quickly decided to put the speedster in his room before ending the party.

Luckily enough, most of the legends weren't nearly as drunk as the two childhood friends. Without much convincing, the rest of the partygoers were out the door to their own homes. With a sigh of relief, the trickster headed back to his room.

*Hello! Sorry for the incredibly late update! After school finally finished for the year, I went back to my job and got incredibly busy. But now with my new computer, I hope to be updating more regularly! As this is a bit shorter than the rest of the other chapters, I will be uploading another chapter today at the usual length. Anyways, thank you for putting up with my longer-than-expected hiatus and I hope you're enjoying the story thus far!*
