How does one like to spend their weekend nights? Definitely by not filling out medical paperwork for the Revolutionary Army. I joined the Revolutionary Army a couple of years ago when the Marines burned down my home town.

But since then, I joined them not as a soldier, but as a doctor. And one of the things I established here was a medical history. To know about previous patients injuries or surgeries. It was smart in the moment, but now I have to record EVERYONE'S injuries until we get more doctors and nurses.

Knock knock

" Come in." I call out not having my eyes leave my paperwork for even a second.

" Hey (Y/N)! I just came back from our mission in Dressrosa and Hack here needs someone to look over his broken arm." I put my pen down and looked up to see my bestfriend Koala rushing over to me gleefully. I smile at her gratefully accepting her hug before looking behind her. In the doorway stood Hack. I usher him to come over to me.

" It's nice to see that a majority of you all came back safe and sound." I smile to myself while observing Hack's arm. " It's definitely broken, but I didn't think that fishman broke their bones so easily. Your arm looks like it was snapped like a twig." An astonished gasp left my lips at how strong this person must be to achieve this.

" But will he live, doctor?" A familiar voice resonates from the doorway. And there leaning on the door frame was Sabo. Typical Sabo in his typical attire. If there is one thing I know about Sabo, it is that he makes my heart race at the drop of a hat. His hat to be exact.

" Don't be so dramatic, Chief." I emphasize his profession just like he did with mine. I start to wrap hack's arm up in a splint while at the same time taking down notes about his injuries. " Ok, that should do it for now. Remember to ice it for 20 minutes a day and come back here next week." Hack nods his head before leaving. I go to sit down at my desk now adding Hack's injury to the pile.

" You look pretty tired, maybe you should take a nap?" Sabo whispers in my ear, sending a shiver down my spine at how close he was.

" I haven't slept well since you left." I admit facing his way shyly. He nuzzles his nose into my hair. His left hand gripping the back of my chair and his right on my desk. Sabo and I have been stuck in the flirting stages of our relationship, but both of us haven't made a move yet.

" I would have come here sooner if I knew that I would hear something as sweet as that." He says while he snuggles closer to me.

" Are you saying you planned to make me wait?" I joke

" I would never joke about my feelings." A big blush rose to my face and I felt him slowly pull away. I face him. I wanted to know since he left for his mission, before we ever began this flirting only relationship.

" Do you like me?" His eyes widen before he lets out a huge sigh. His knees give out and he falls to the floor using my chair for support. Hiding his face from mine.

" And here I thought doctors were supposed to be smart." It was then that I noticed his ears were bright red. I smile at his reaction. Pulling his chin up to face me I look into his eyes.

" Just because I'm a doctor, does not mean I can read your mind." I laugh at his cute expression, glad that I was the only one in this moment able to see it. Sabo places his hands on my face. I nuzzle into them.

" I love you." My eyes widen at his words. I knew that we shared affection for one another, deeply. But I never thought he felt so strongly about me. " Do you love me back?"

" So much more." I kiss his forehead from the height difference at the moment. I then proceeded to lay my head on his shoulder. Gleefully enjoying the rise in his shoulders from his breathing. It was soothing. So much so that I had drifted off to my dreams.
