The White Hair

Prologue

What if you were given a life with a freedom on taking a choice on what you want to eat at lunch vanished when you get used to it? What if a person born to the world without a tiny bit knowledge, despised because of what he has? What if, that person haven't done anything wrong, but accused to be an evil bringer?
It is a certain boy in anonymous village, with a white hair upon his birth, the so called 'The Hair of Demon'. Wherever he goes, he gets insults about him and his parents that is disturbing to hear. He always loved by his parents, but he wonder why he doesn't hated by his parents after him being treated like that. He always have consoled by his older sister, but in the end, that only brings harm to his sister. Yes, it is a stigma that have been placed upon 'god-knows-when', but in his head, he always wondered why humanity despised him because he is different from them.
Although, he is a clever one, always asks what he doesn't know until he know, or thought about the answer all the time until he got one, and that what he does everyday. Of course, as an ‘abnormal peasant’ to the kingdom, he still a peasant so that he was taught by his father how to use a sword to hunt despite his crude technique in the eyes of a normal soldier. But, who cares? As long as his stomach full, the technique was none of his concern.
Until one day, a noble came and destroyed his daily life. That noble told the villagers that the king has ordered his folk to join the kingdom's army for a war against the neighboring kingdom. It is a big news, of course, considering how their peaceful life have always been (except for the boy). But it turned to be a bad news for him, his mother taken by force because the noble caught an eye for her, and his father died because he doesn't want to be separated from his wife and fought the noble, resulting him died a dog's death. His sister was killed when his father told them to run away by sacrificing herself from the pursuing soldier, but unfortunately, he was caught by them and the noble used him as an experiment for the kingdom.
The kingdom was infamous for their human experiment to turn human into a transcendental being, or to be known as 'biological weapon' on the continent, even for worst, their experiment on 'The Child of Demon' incredibly infamous around the continent because their discrimination. His life was no better than before, that he thought it is better than his current life. He is tortured, forced to swallow a disgusting being, injected with unknown fluid and suffered all the day, forced into fight with another test subject, mutilated and his limb reattached again and again, that he lost his consciousness for multiple times. One time, his body was drawn an unknown tattoo and for many days his mind was in mess that he doesn't know what he eat or what he did. Only when he wakes up he discovered that his body was in clean state, that makes him puzzled for what the heck did they do.
Subject number 1, with code name 'Erst'. That was he called by those kingdom's mad scientist. He was praised by them because he can stand all the experiment that no one can survive for decades ago. And so on the other test subjects, their state was incredible mess that makes the people of another kingdom wondered if this kingdom is in right situation. But, who cares? Or so said the emperor. What the emperor want is glory. The boy, 'Erst', can only curse on his heart, and swears that he will make that damned emperor suffer for what he done on him one day. So he can only wait for a better situation and break through for his freedom.
If god exist on that world, the god listened to his prayer and finally grants his wish. That day...
