~O~

"That's something I can explain!"

Midoriya was seen sitting on the reception desk.

His posture was carefree and calm. A casual smile on his face as he raised his right hand and waved at his classmates who never expected him to show up.

Why did he show up now anyways?

What exactly was he doing?

Why was he so calm about all this?

Did he still had all his memories?

They had many questions which were bound to be left unanswered for the time being. Right now, they only silently stared at the green haired boy who retracted his hand and was just sitting there with a friendly aura and a gentle smile.

But for some reason; the friendly aura they were used to felt so damn dangerous and alarming. They were all on the tip of their toes. Cold sweat lining down their foreheads. They didn't even need to rethink the fact that they were having goose bumps out of pure fear.

Why...?

Just why did their resident cinnamon roll's happy presence screamed danger? Why did this feel so intense? Was this just Toga in disguise? Twice making clones? Was any other villain behind this? Was this all just a test being conducted by UA? Was this all fake? Was Midoriya in some serious danger?

No.

This was different.

This was so very different than anything else. It felt like they were all trapped under this person who usually smiles a lot and appears bright but deep down they were the complete opposite. Midoriya appeared completely fine and the same as ever. Just your average happy nerd. But the gut churning feeling his presence gave them; Class-1-A could feel death just by looking at the green haired boy.

"Midoriya...?" Kaminari uttered out.

"Mhm. That's me!" The said boy enthusiastically pointed at himself.

"What's going on...? What are you doing here?" This time, Iida asked.

"I'm having fuuuuun~!" Midoriya said in a singsong tone as he jumped off the desk, throwing his arms up in the air. His expression was like an excited five years old on his birthday party with his friends.

And something in that felt so terrifying.

The green haired boy dropped his smile and a concerned expression sketched across his face when he saw the current state of his classmates. They were all frozen in fear. It was like something about Midoriya was holding them down. Something about Midoriya kept them on guard. Something about Midoriya made their breathing hitched.

"Why the long faces?" Midoriya furrowed his eyebrows, slightly pouting as he tilted his head to a side.

He looked genuinely concerned for his friends. But then why was atmosphere so tense?

The green haired boy smiled once again.

It was killing them.

Midoriya took slow delicate steps towards the group of teenagers.

Stop... Please.

His hands were locked behind his back. He just wanted them to be happy with him.

Why did it feel so awful?
