Chapter 3

Lunch I dreaded it its just better if I don't eat I don't need to get fatter than I am I go to my table and drink some water and read a book alone I'm not much of the social type.then I caught Alex's gaze on me I looked up and then looked down the bell rung and I went to my forth hour math I went in ant sat in my seat then my teacher mr.Moore went off talking about algebra I kept wondering why Alex was staring at me I guess I was thinking for a long time because the bell rung and I went to my next class choir I don't like it at all they sing really terrible music the teachers loud and sometimes they make you sing in front of the whole class I walked in the room and sat in a chair and listened to the instructions he said to basically find a partner and work on some notes I looked around and everybody got a partner I looked at the teacher I was about to say something when Alex walked in the room the teacher then said I guess you'll be with Alex .... he walked towards me and sat down the teacher handed us some clip boards and the worksheet he didn't say any thing nor did I but he piped up and said are we going to do this or not ? I nodded and then said this note is a high note your suppose to use it when you do a long high range it went just like that me and him going back and forth between what notes were what . then the teacher said these are the partners you are going to do a duet with I froze I'm not going up there and singing there is no way I'll just fake sick the teacher then said you have to prepare a song and sing it in front of the class by Wednesday then Alex said you can come over to my house and we will practice a song okay I stiffly nodded then he said do you got any ideas ? u-um yeah how a-about stay by Rihanna feat. mikky echo . alright I guess that will do he replied we then decided that I was going to play the piano for the music . the bell rung and I went to my 6th& 7th hour class E.l.A I have that class for 2 hours I went in and sat down at a table and then wrote down some notes my teacher mrs. J wrote down we are reading a book in class call the outsiders by s.e Hinton it's about a gang in the 50s. then came writing we were suppose to write a poem about our favorite poet mine was Edgar Allan Poe I quickly wrote the poem and got out my library book and read the teachers bell to clean up was ringing which meant basically ( get you shit ready so you can get the hell out of my class ) I grabbed my binder and book then the bell rung and I went to my locker and my wolf Mack said finally were done then I mentally said that was just one day out if this week I smirked I grabbed my stuff went to my car and drove home to get some thing to eat before I went to Alex's house when I got home I grabbed a banana my purse phone & charger and left I ate the banana so I wouldn't have to eat a lot a dinner on I made it to Alex's house I ringed the door bell and I got greeted by Alex's mom Amanda I said hello Luna she nodded and said just call me Amanda. Alex came down and said let's get started just before I was about to go into the grand piano room Amanda stopped and said I made brownies would you care for one boy did they look good but they have so many carbs. no thank you I ate before I came hear I said quietly she nodded and walked off we went in and I sat down on the bench and started playing my part I started too sing and then came his part . I Kept thing damn he's a good singer!! we sang together then the song ended I finally said your a good singer he didn't reply we practiced a little more and then I went home thinking in 2 days I'll be 18 years old and ill find my mate the thought scares me what if they think I'm ugly and fat and reject me. my patents came home and we ate dinner I didn't eat a lot a couple of spoonfuls of peas was it I went up stairs and went to bed .
