his hometown

     lisa always thought about the day that she would go to jungkooks hometown and meet his family, she just didn't know when that day would come. so when her, oh so responsible, boyfriend informed her that theyd be going in two days, she had a mental breakdown.

"kook! why didn't you tell me earlier? im not prepared for this at all!"

"because i knew you would try and delay everything out of nervousness"

she hated how well he knew her sometimes

"yeah, but, what if your parents dont like me? what if i do something wrong? what if i-"

"lili! my parents are going to love you, they know how happy you make me and how well you take of care me, so dont worry. now, take three big breaths with me"

she also "hated" how he could calm her down in five seconds

"well, today is the day. are you excited baby?" jungkook asked happily

"so excited" lisa said timidly

"doll, look at me" lisa looked at jungkook with so much fear in her eyes that he actually thought about cancelling the trip, but he knew that he couldn't do that to his parents. "lisa, everything will be okay, they are going to love you. stop doubting yourself"

"but what if they only like the version of me that you told them about? what if theyre expecting some cute, quiet, calm girl but they get this instead and regret meeting me?" lisa asked with such sadness and jungkook couldn't take it anymore, "lisa! youre perfect in every way and they are going to absolutely adore you... all of you",he said with so much emotion,"so please just trust me and start believing in yourself"

lisa couldn't take it when he said such sweet words and was on the verge of tears, which led jungkook to embrace her so tightly

"what would i do without you?" lisa chuckled into his chest," i honestly have no idea, you're a mess sister" he laughed but soon yelped in pain

this is the moment, she was officially going to meet his parents. lisa was holding jungkooks hand so tightly that he could feel her shaking, leading him to whisper more encouraging words in her ear as he knocked on the door

a few moments later mrs.jeon answered the door and studied lisa very intensely with an expressionless face causing lisa to put her head down in embarrassment

"jungkook...i cant believe this.."

"here it comes"  lisa thought

"you didn't tell me she'd be prettier in person! how dare you keep this from your own mother?"

lisa shot her head up in suprise

"sorry mom, her beauty is just indescribable" jungkook said making lisa blush and stutter as she tries to get out her words of thanks

" oh, uh, thank you so much mrs.j-"

" please, please call me mom dear" mrs.jeon said with a sweet smile,"and please do come in, i made a special meal just for you sweetheart!"

"yeah just forget im your son then" jungkook mumbled to himself but lisa still heard it, which resulted in jungkook getting another hit on the head,"ow, it was a joke baby, calm down", he whispered," i dont care, appreciate yo-"

"come on love birds! time to eat!" interrupted mr.jeon

"nice to meet you mr.jeon" lisa said with a smile as she and jungkook sat at the table

"its nice to finally meet you as well",he responded kindly,"now, lets eat"

the dinner went very well, lisa got to know mr. and mrs.jeon better and truly loved their company, they treated her like their own, which made her feel very welcomed. now she and jungkook are cuddling in his childhood room, getting ready to call it a night.

"i told you theyd love you, but no, you thought otherwise",jungkook said bitterly,"yeah, yeah you were right and i was wrong. are you happy now you big baby?", lisa replied sarcastically,"very" he responded smugly

" but seriously, im glad you saw how much they loved you, im happy you finally see how amazing you are baby"

"kook, i want you to know that you're one of the main reasons im starting to love myself, and that what you say makes me happier with who i am as a person",lisa said with so much love in her eyes,"so, thank you, for everything",she said as she kissed his cheek,"i love you"

jungkook was officially the happiest man on earth as he heard lisa say those words for the first time

"i love you more baby"
