Two teenage boys were approaching behind me. From since the girl has been here...it must have been three hours. She began to tire but the boys caught her attention just as they snickered and walked towards me with the most idiotic plan I've ever heard. The larger one of the two spoke first "Hey lousy outcast! Move! Your starting rumors and its scaring people!" they both laughed, highly amused with themselves I suppose. The other said "Yeah all you do is stand around all day and do nothing! You probably haven't experienced anything in your life!" I said nothing. They were standing behind me all this time. But both of them started to walk closer towards me. Then they began to walk in front... I could feel that they were shocked to see my eyes open and staring off into the forest. The larger boy laughed again and said "I guess you really haven't experienced anything have you? With all this 'staring off into the forest' business." I slowly turned my head towards him and looked straight into his eyes.
Then I spoke.
Have I never experienced anything? You have no idea." At this point I had already approached him. I had already put my hands around his throat. I began to see the fear in his eyes and the horror spread across his face. I continued to speak. "My question to you is if you've ever truly experienced fear. Have you ever felt like you don't know whats going on? Like you never cared or never had the motivation? Or have you ever felt so empty where there is absolutely nothing out there for you that could ever help you or bring you out of that stage of pure emptiness and fear?" I began to put these words in his mind. I began to forcibly burn them into his thoughts and use every one of his emotions against him all at the same time. I continued further. "Because here's the thing, fear can get to you. It really can. It doesn't come in one form either. There are dozens of ways to fear. Eventually it becomes a heavy cloak where you bury yourself under all it's weight. After that it becomes hard to breathe." At this point now, he was on the ground with my hands still around his throat. It became more difficult for him to breathe. He was struggling to keep his own life continuing. And I didn't even need to use my hands. I continued speaking even further. "This...fear...this fear is yours. You are nurturing it. You are keeping it alive. And you are going to wrap yourself up in it and go to sleep knowing it's there for a very very long time." I released my hands just as I stopped talking... and the boy died. For the smaller, second one... he died from the visions I gave him of my past. But for the girl... watching me from the trees... I believe I've done enough... because that girl... Is me.
