y/n pov the weather is gross. i don't want to get out of bed. 'Y/N?' 'GET UP FOR SCHOOL!' my mum calls up the stairs to me. I pull on the first outfit I can find.

I shove my phone in my pocket and rush downstairs. Grabbing a breakfast bar, I shout 'bye mum!!' and rush out the door. As I reach the school gates, I can see my best friend Ashley waving at me. I run over as she seems very excited about something. 'There's a new girl! In our homeroom! Can you believe it!?' she shouts 'And that's exciting because?' I reply 'No one has joined our school since 7th grade!' We both begin to laugh. The bell goes and we sit down in our seats. 'Settle down class!' warns Miss Jacques. 'We have a new student starting today! Her name is Chloe. Say hello Chloe!' 'Hi' Chloe says nervously. 'Take a seat next to y/n darling. Y/n give Chloe a wave so she knows who you are!' I give a shy wave and Chloe smiles and walks toward the empty seat next to me. 'Hey Chloe!' I say. 'Hi!' She says happily. 'I'm y/n and this is Ashley' I begin, 'we'll help show you around today!' 'Thanks!' Chloe begins, 'I appreciate it! You're actually the first nice people I've met today' she says quietly. 'Oh no!' I'm worried that she already thinks that Red Lea is a shit school. 'Most people are really sweet! Maybe you just met the wrong people first.' Then I have an idea... 'Hey guys!' 'What?' Chloe and Ashley say in unison. 'How about we have a sleepover tonight to get to know each other!' 'Omg! that's a great idea!' Chloe exclaims, 'we can have it at mine because my parents probably wouldn't be too happy if i stayed over at someone elses house on my first day here' 'Here's my number, text me the address, we'll be there at 7?' 'Perfect' she smiles.
