The Queen of Hearts

If you haven't seen me post this on my other social medias, then here ya go! I'm pretty sure no one reads my art book anymore, but I worked really hard on this.

Believe it or not, this one was actually meant for awareness.

A lot of artists and authors get put on a pedestal, and it's really crushing to deal with that pressure. As someone who has a very popular book on this website/app, I also deal with this. Don't get me wrong, everyone loves to be praised for their hard work, and I'm not saying that I hate the lovely comments. I'm talking about the constant pestering that comes along with it. Most books don't have a "schedule", and it's a heavy burden when there are fans constantly begging for you to update and write more. We are human beings, and yet we are treated like gods; like royalty. That's kind of where the name of this piece comes from. When you suddenly become popular, you can't escape it. I'm not the most famous person on here, and I'm thankful, trust me. But I just want people to be aware that we are people, too. Everybody wants to be the Queen of Hearts until they are one.

For those who don't have that one "amazing book", please don't take that for advantage. I know I probably sound like a stuck up jerk, but my writing and my art has actually gotten me into a lot of drama. I can't necessarily get into it, because I'm afraid of certain people seeing it. If you want details, just DM me. I'm not a busy person, and I'd love to talk to you. I don't bite.

I love you all, and I'm sorry for this depressing upload. The quarantine has really taken an impact on me, and I've already been through so much.

Don't be afraid to reach out. I'm just a simple girl that writes books.
