Well, my friends, this is the final chapter. It's unfortunate. I originally had intended to make this story a lot longer. I had begun the story while I was on a vacation. Ultimately that was a bad decision because I didn't have a set schedule for updating which caused me to fall off. I feel that I owe it to you guys to explain what my intentions were for this story. It won't be a story-like chapter. It will just be me explaining what my plans were. Once I'm done, I have a bit of exciting news for all of you amazing people who waited.
Well, as many of you have guessed, Schroeder is a psychic. In my notes for the story, I made him with the same abilities as Saiki. Schroeder, however, looked at life from a different perspective than our pink-haired friend. Schroeder felt outed from people due to his power. Although no one knew about it, people always thought of him as strange, so he wanted to make a better impression. Quite the opposite of Saiki. Schroeder's parents were superstitious people. They started noticing weird happenings surrounding their child. Due to this, they gave away their child when he was three years old. He was in the foster home since that day. Although he doesn't remember much of his parents, they left a note saying he caused misfortune and trauma in others. Not only did this scar Schroeder, but he made it a personal goal to be someone who makes people happy from that moment on. When Schroeder met Saiki, he could tell that they were the same. He heard his parents talk about the many friends he had at his old home. He approached Saiki in the last chapter desperate for a helping hand to make friends. He had no idea that Saiki had, like, zero interest in friends. When they met, Schroeder was crying because of the immense pain their meeting had caused. Saiki's power limiters prevented most of the pain, so all he really got was a headache. Schroeder, however, had no limiters so the consequences hit him worse. Schroeder was afraid of the pain, so that's why he acted wary around Saiki. However, when he patted his head, the pain wasn't as bad as when he first met him, so he assumed that they were getting adjusted to each others incredible presence. That was when he decided to confront Saiki. Eventually, he convinces Saiki to help him out.I was kind of flying blind with Saiki on this story. I planned the events around him, and whenever I was writing, I put myself in his mindset and just wrote down whatever I thought he would say. I invite you to do the same. Once I finish explaining all of this story, I hope you can come up with your own creative way in which Saiki would respond to these events. I would love to hear your opinions in the comments, or you could message me!Noah was a very interesting character. I'm disappointed that I didn't give him more of a spotlight while I wrote this. His outward perfection and his dismissive and quiet personality was all a farce. He was actually kind of a sick person underneath all that intensity. His only redeeming feature was his obsessive behavior towards you, the main character. Imagine him as another Makoto Teruhashi, but way more sinister. Of course, Saiki instantly saw through this when they delivered the cookies. Actually, I think a better comparison would be a yandere-type character. His whole purpose in life at that time was to protect you and keep you with him at all times. The whole reason he was so perfect was to project a comforting image of him to you. He worked hard to have a good future: one you would enjoy. At one point, his thoughts get so out of hand, Saiki steps in to take her away before he could do anything weird. This is really where the Me x You romance arc began in my notes.Of course, you slowly start to get over your initial anger and learn to like him. Saiki sees through this, but continues to protect you because Noah was getting desperate. All the while, Schroeder is still seeking help from Saiki.Eventually, I planned to wrap up this story with Schroeder crushing Noah because of his creepy thoughts. Schroeder could hear his thoughts this whole time as well, but he wanted to keep a good image until Saiki told him that moral behavior should always come before appearances. Once he gets Noah, he puts on Noah's glasses to prevent the turn-to-stone power. Schroeder was getting stronger, after all. Saiki had his brother make another set of power limiters. In the end, the three of you lived happily ever after with Noah in a cell. Of course, the details of the story would have contained more of the intended romance content.Well, I know it wasn't a whole story like I originally planned, and what you were all expecting. However, I think it's good to move on from things left in the past. I hope this satisfies and lingering curiosity and questions. If you have more, please ask. I will do my best to answer. So, I promised some interesting news. I'm going to leave this account. There will be one more update after this one to let you all know the new account I will be using. I am currently making a new story that will be quite controversial in the anime community. I hope you all like My Hero Academia because that will be the show I focus on next. I will make it another romance-revolved story, but I will do my best to make it as intriguing as this one. For the little bit I wrote, I am quite proud of this story. To all those who stayed faithful, thank you. I hope this is enough to make up for my faults.
Thank you for your continued support. Keep an eye out for the next chapter that'll introduce my new account! Don't worry, I won't delete this one. I think it will be very humbling for me to be reminded of my past mistakes.
