Who am I without you? Where would I have ascended from, if not from you? The earth heard your cry and took heed to the gift you bared. I grew in your womb, your image slowly coming to reflect my own. My breath... my heartbeat... my eyes... all deriving from you.
You are my roots... the beginning of my entirety. You fertilized my being and watched me flourish. Our hands as dark as the soil. Our faces being a result of our sun basking.
You are the rain and I thirst for you.
