Luna and Carson: Mushroom Kingdom Chaos

Chapter 1: When Her Friends Get Kidnapped

     It was a surprisingly peaceful day in the town of Springfield, and everything was normal, well almost. In the high school, Lakewood High, a 10th grader named Luna had just been called to the Principal's office. But when Luna got there, she was shocked to see the the school bully, Jessica was also there.

Luna: You wanted to see me, sir?

Principal: Yes. Jessica here told me that you beat her up, is that true?

Luna: What?! That isn't true! I would never do that!

That's when Jessica started 'crying' before pointing at Luna and screaming.

Jessica: She's lying! I overheard her talking to her friends and spreading rumors about me and saying she'll beat me up!

Principal: Ms. Luna, I don't tolerate this kind of behavior at my school. Therefore, you'll have detention for the next week and you'll also have extra homework for the rest of the month. You are dismissed.

Luna then ran out the door and back to her and her brother, Carson's house where he as well as the rest of their friend group were waiting for her. But their eyes widened when they saw Luna angrily slammed the front door before groaning in frustration.

Luna: Ugh!! This is so damn stupid!!

Isabel: What happened?!

Luna: Spoiled brat, Jessica accuses me of beating her up and spreading rumors about her, and now I have detention for the next week and extra homework for the rest of the month!!

Chris: Figures that brat would do that since she hates your guts for no reason.

That's when Nathan punched Chris in the arm.

Nathan: You aren't helping, Chris!

Chris: That still doesn't give you an excuse to punch me that hard.

Luna then turned on the TV before slumping on the couch next to her brother, who put a hand on her shoulder before speaking.

Carson: Don't worry. I'll talk with the principal tomorrow morning.

Rose: I'll go with him, since I want to help my bestie in any way that I can.

Luna: Thanks, guys.

Carson: Anytime. But right now, I think we should all head to bed since we have school tomorrow.

Carson said as everyone prepared their sleeping arrangements for the night. Since they were all having a sleepover of course, they had out sleeping bags and a bunch of snacks on the nearby coffee table. The group of friends then proceeded to play video games and joke around until all of them passed out a few hours later.

(At 1 in the morning...)

Everyone was sleeping peacefully in the living room, until a sudden sound of a window breaking jolted everyone awake.

Carson: What the fuck is going on?!

Luna: I have no idea!!!

That's when the siblings noticed Bowser from the Mario franchise in their living room, kidnapping the rest of their friends causing Luna to gasp in shock and Carson to get angry.

Luna: Why the fuck is Bowser from the Mario games in our living room?!

Carson: I honestly don't give a shit why he's here, I just want him to leave our friends alone!!!

Luna: Carson, wait!

But before Luna could stop her brother, Carson was already running to the kitchen to grab the sharpest knife they had before running at Bowser while yelling, causing Bowser to turn around and see him just as Kamek threw Isabel into the portal back to Bowser's castle.

Bowser: Well what do we have here, a kid who thinks he can take me on?

Carson: Let my friends go! They didn't do anything to you, you asshole!!

Bowser: And where's the fun in that?!

Bowser then grabbed Carson by the collar of his shirt and threw him against the wall, causing him to hit his head on the coffee table and his glasses to get knocked off his face. Carson also dropped the knife he was holding. Bowser then turned to Kamek before laughing darkly.

Kamek: Shall we go, Lord Bowser?

Bowser: Yeah. We're done here.

Bowser and Kamek then left through the portal that they came through as Luna ran to check on her brother.

Luna: Carson, you okay?!

Carson: Yeah, just hit my head, but I'll be fine.

Luna: That's good. But, what do we do?! Bowser just kidnapped our friends, and I doubt this is just a dream.

Carson then pinched himself before he winced in pain.

Carson: Yeah, this isn't a dream, this is reality!

That's when Luna noticed a note that was left on the couch and picked it up. But as she read it, her face grew angrier, causing her brother to get anxious.

Carson: What does it say?

Luna: It says that if we ever want to see our friends again, we have to defeat him in battle at his castle!

Carson: How the fuck are we meant to pull something like that off?! I mean neither of us have powers!

Luna: Actually, I think I might have elemental magic.

Carson: How on earth did you get that...?!

Luna: Whenever I found my necklace, somehow I gained powers.

Carson: I don't suppose you also have the ability to make portals as well?

Luna then shook her head.

Luna: No, but I know someone who does.

(At Sarah's house...)

Sarah: So let me get this straight, your telling me that Bowser broke into your house at 1 in the morning and kidnapped your friends?!

Luna: Yeah...

Sarah: Well, I guess I could give you the ability to make portals, Luna.

Carson: Really?!

Sarah: Yea, sure thing!

Sarah then closed her eyes as a teal aura surrounded her hands as she touched Luna's forehead and in a few seconds, Sarah gave a spark of her teleportation magic to Luna, who hugged her in joy.

Luna: Thank you so much!

Sarah: No problem. Now, you should go and save your friends.

Luna then nodded as she made a portal to the Mushroom kingdom, before she and Carson entered the portal. But as they did, Luna couldn't help but feel excited as she was going to be visiting a video game world for the first time, despite knowing that she was going there for one reason, and that was to save her friends.

Well that concludes Chapter 1. I'm sorry if it sucks since the idea for this fanfic just came to my mind at random. But, anyways, I hope you enjoyed and stay tuned for Chapter 2.
